three point shooting is the key here, he was able to improve from 27% to 36% in 2 years which is huge.

Klay had 2 bad games which made it seem like he's doing worse than he has been. Steph is around his average for this season, but still short of his career playoff 3% which is where we all expect Curry to be.

In the playoffs Klay is a career 41.4% 3P shooter from 3, Steph is 40%. I think they both can shoot a little better but it's not going to be a lot. The question is more how hot can Jordan Poole stay? His last 2 months have been a mega-heater, is it a real sustainable thing or will he come down from that high a bit? I honestly don't know because in early March Poole was shooting 33% from 3 for the season and managed to lift that up to 36.4% with his late season fire. This flame has stayed ignited and I hope that continues -- nobody knows about Poole.

GS in the playoffs this season from 3 (10 attempts or more):

Poole 46.2%
Klay 40.8%
Wiggins 40.7%
Curry 37.2%
Green 33.3%
OPJ 25%

Klay I think will depend on how much rest he gets. To me when I watch him, his legs look tired even when it's 2 days rest. I figured he'd look good after 4-5 days of rest, which he did. I think Steve needs to limit his minutes more, he's leading the team in minutes which makes no sense for a guy coming back from injury.

I'd like to see Klay at closer to 30 minutes w/ more time after bigger rest (and less on shorter rest) so hopefully he can stay above 40% from 3 on a consistent basis. His shot selection has been an issue at times but some games it just looks like his legs are totally dead. Steph will benefit if Klay shoots less, he seems too deferential when Klay is in and not looking to take over and find his own shot.

I also think Memphis is just a bad matchup for the Warriors. I expect Steph and Klay to be better in the next series.

I see. So Stephen Curry is once again on the most stacked team in the league. Thank y'all for the answers

It’s so weird how curry is always on the most stacked team in the league. It’s almost as if curry has something to do with it.

He will have a drop off on his historic playoff efficiency obviously, but he's an efficient 25/5/5 All Star from this point forward. He's 22. He made the leap that some saw as a very real possibility in the off season. He graduated from the MIT combo guard academy.

Jordon Poole is skyrocketing.

I predict he will shortly (if not already) be the best player on the Warriors. He has already played better than Curry in the playoffs.

You are witnessing the birth of the next super star.

At least extended it.

Something really odd is happening in Warrior land. Poole has taken over as the dynamic unstoppable best player on the floor and nobody want's to admit it. Curry's has lost confidence in his three point shot, is much slower than Poole and Curry STILL shows a lack of confidence to start almost every one of the playoff games.

The next step for Poole is to see how he plays when the other team's entire defense focuses on stopping him.

So yeah...that will absolutely help Curry AND Klay.

If he's smart he pulls a Klay and stays glued to Curry's hip till the wheels fall off.

Poole is only 22 5 yes until he hits peak. Will see if he continues to improve especially defensive end after he gets big contract.

Poole often goes against 3rd best defender. He does use the gravity of Curry well. Barring injury can be an all star

If you are just looking at 3 point shooting yes, Curry is inaccurate compared with his halcyon days but opposing teams being hyperfocused on stopping him from 3 point range might have something to do with that. He was just as effective in terms of winning the game without hitting 3s in the last game, including 6 assists and only 1 TO, and he has bulked up a little which has helped his defense and made him better able to tolerate the offball scragging to which he is routinely subjected. Hopefully Poole maintains his 3 point shooting with more defensive attention, but it is pick your poison if the splash triplets are all firing, you can't double team 3 players. He is faster than Curry and even better at scoring inside and harder to stop from getting there, and as good a FT shooter which is saying something, and possibly a pointer to his shooting in general being sustainable.

Jordan Poole is Collin Sexton without the ‘empty stats’ allegations, but worse
