East is a bloodbath. Top 4 teams are too damn good for a team to go cold, it will be season over.

Is it really that impressive? The Bucks are missing their second best player and primary closer. The respect should probably go that team.

Okie dokie

Fine. I m so impressed by this Celtics team. They were such a huge underdog in this series and props to them for tying up the series 2-2 against a team that is missing their second best player. Better?

In the two wins the Celtics got against the Bucks, the first was without their defensive player of the year award winner, and the second was without their top defensive player. You can’t point out the Bucks not having Middleton and ignore these facts.

What a huge win by the Celtics. I’m loving how competitive these series are so far.

Perhaps you're mixing him up with Towns or Mychal Thompson.

Pritchard is an interesting guy. I remember watching him cook Kyrie and thinking he was pretty automatic, but he's missed a lot of open shots this series.

He was great vs. the Nets. He could easily go 4/4 from 3 next game, wouldn't surprise me in the least. He can be streaky like that

This is how he looked early in the season. He had been scorching for months coming into this series though. He seems to have lost a little confidence in this series. I even saw him pass up a couple of deep "open" looks that he usually pulls automatically.

Yeah that was what i was noticing as well. Could be a real X-factor if he gets into a rhythm.

His father Tito Horford is Dominican. Al is Dominican (as is his wife).

His playoff career high is lower than Giannis' average for the series.

Middleton has not and will not play in the entire series.

People are noticing it now because of the 30 ball but he's been unreal on D throughout
Dunno what he does exactly, he doesn't even jump half the time but if he's vaguely close to a player they just miss layups.

Horford's a good shot blocker, good position defender, quick hands. And on offense he's a respectable 3 point shooter but mainly he has a deadly mid-range touch from 6 to 15', and gets all his shots off quick. Also he can run, he's a plus athlete who just doesn't look it half the time. He's got endurance and always shows up in the 4th.

Yea but al was 11-14 and has shot like 60% for the series and Giannis is sub 50% and 10 years younger.

Even without Middleton, the Bucks are playing good tough basketball. These are just two teams going blow for blow and this series probably goes 7

Is Al Horford headed for the Hall of Fame? Very long career. 5 time allstar, 1 time all nba, 1 all defense. Potentially a title

I agree with your take. My point was that the Celtics should be favored to win the series with Middleton being out. It s a tough and competitive series nonetheless.

what an incredible series between 2 evenly matched powerhouse teams. tatum with major redemption and a takeover performance in the 4th qtr. hopefully middleton is able to play in some capacity as even the most dominant freak in the game in giannis is clearly gassed from carrying such a heavy load both offensively and defensively.

It looked very similar to game 3. Giannis gassed, and Tatum looking much better. I didn't know if the Celtics were going to win it, but I thought it was going to be close. Celtics outplayed Bucks 3 games in a row IMO

Letting Giannis wear himself out is the Celtics best defense. I assume they are going to go forward with that. Jrue just isn’t good enough offensively to take the heat off of Giannis and Middleton is essential for the team to work. Need magic games by Allen or Portis to take some heat off of Giannis

I don't think it's over, but the Bucks really screwed themselves over that last quarter. It's not even that Horford went off, or that they lost the game. It's that they gave Boston the shot of confidence they needed to take control of the series.

I'd feel better about the upcoming games if they hadn't let a guy like Tatum see the ball go through the net. A lot of the game is mental, and we had him in his head. I now expect a big game from him, and that can carry over to the role players.

I was responding to your implication that Al sonned Giannis this game but I get you are being funny.

Al was incredible it was quite literally a career night for him and he's been amazing these last two games in Mlk.
