Unfortunate but they were losing in 5 either way. Only game they pulled off is a game winner at the buzzer, essentially. Fun team though, they should’ve utilized Adams more since GSW is small.

Also, I’m done hearing anything about Poole and that knee grab. That obviously did not cause a a bone bruise. It was really annoying to see that even be a thing. Even Ja tweeting about it. Not a chance

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't know how that could have caused a bone bruise.

Shame he couldn’t keep playing. I’m rooting for the Warriors in the series, but not to the point that I want an easy pass for them. I’d take a fun 7 game series with Grizzlies winning over Warriors winning in 5 against a Morant-less Grizzlies. Just kind of sucked the fun out of the series.

I think it's safe to say that Poole's fraction of a second knee grab did not cause a bone bruise. If I had to guess it probably happened on his fly by when closing out on Klay.

It being a bone bruise I think its safe to assume it didnt happen on the Poole play. Bruise is trauma, not pulling. It had to happen on the close out.

Well since we now know it is a bone bruise that's proof that Poole didn't do it. You don't get a bone bruise from being grabbed.

Traps are inherently chaotic plays that involve spastic decisions. I don't think Poole meant to injure Morant even if he did grab his leg. That said it's a bummer he's gone

Is that not the same knee he injured in the RS? When it happend back then it looked really scary and i was surprised when he returned relatively soon.
