If we win this series, we're keeping Tobias no matter what. He's been great this playoffs (which is where it really matters).

One thing that's guaranteed, imo, is that we're trading Matisse this offseason. I feel like he probably annoyed the FO by not playing in the Tor away games, he's even more worthless on offense than Ben, and he's entering his final year. Being that he's a top 3 defender in the league, he possesses a lot of alluring value for teams that are deficit on that end and feel like they can squeeze some juice out of him offensively.

I very much feel like we have been grooming Springer, who is already miles better offensively, to be his replacement against guards and will find some other option along with Danny Green to defend SFs.

I don’t like Mitchell nearly as much as some others. He’s developed a ton of bad habits that will be very hard to break at this point in his career. I bet Jazz trade Rudy anyway and rebuild around Mitchell.

Sixers trade:
Danny Green
Georges Niang
Matisse Thybulle
Furkan Korkmaz

Pacers trade:
Malcolm Brogdon

Pacers continue their youth movement with the addition of Thybulle, they have 2 expiring contracts (also pretty valuable trade deadline guys) in Niang and Green, and Furk is pretty cheap for 2 years. We relieve them of Brogdon's large contract so they can build around Haliburton.

We get a third creator who has had periods of his career where he's a bomber from deep. His age is also in that championship window. It's a risk given his health, much like trading for Harden, but that's why he's available for relatively cheap.

Can't say our offense would be bad, but our defense would be... not great, lol. Would probably be able to get some bargain bin defenders who are ring chasing with this lineup:

Maxey
Harden
Brogdon
Harris
Embiid

I like it, but can't help but think Indy can do better for a guy like Brogdon, who is a pretty good player on an expiring. I'd guess they would be looking for picks unless they see Thybulle as a building block.

I generally think we have the top end talent to win a title but don’t have the depth and complementary pieces necessary. I like a guy like Brogdon but a trade like that brings more offense (where we are good) and comes at the cost of defense and wing depth (which we need).

I think the move is a Danny/Matisse trade to consolidate our SF spot into a starting caliber wing and then sign another wing using the MLE for depth/flexibility.

I have no idea who the best wing is that we can get for Mattise/Danny but I’d be interested in these deals for that package:

Royce O’Neal / Rudy Gay
Kelly Oubre / Jalen McDaniels (this one is prob a no)
KCP + something
Reggie Bullock / Josh Green
Alec Burks + something
Kenrich Willaims / Derrick Favors

It’s tough to find a deal to get excited about tho because good wings are so highly valued.

I’m also kinda intrigued by the idea of giving Oladipo the full MLE. Don’t know what his market will look like but he could basically guarantee himself a starting spot on a title contender and play his way into one more decent contract.

Otto Porter, Thad Young, Kent Bazemore (might be cooked), Josh Jackson, Taurean Prince will all be UFA this offseason. Some might be more expensive than what we're willing to pay for, but I believe we can fill the gaps. Especially because Thybulle basically makes us 4v5 on offense.

Think we could target TJ warren? Wonder if he could be our Victor O type player going into next year. How much does he get?

Keeping it relatively simple:

1. Porter for the MLE
2. Thybulle + Korkmaz for Beverley
3. Re-sign Harden to a 4-year $180 mil deal

Harden/Beverley/Milton
Maxey/Springer/Joe
Porter/Green/(Vet min)
Harris/Niang/(Vet min)
Embiid/Reed/Bassey
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

I'll sign for that right now.

He signed an extension before the season so he's no longer an expiring. $22.5 million each of the next three seasons.

Really difficult to know his value given his injury history. Think he'd fit very nicely though, provided he buys into reverting back to his Milwaukee role of mostly playing off ball.

Back with you on the Trade Harris™️ brigade.

Casper impressions these past three games against the Heat alongside Embiid who's playing himself into the floor with his brain and skull being held together by welded plastic.

Tyus Jones for the MLE?

Keep in mind that players we want to be traded were here before Morey and I bet most of them are going to be traded this summer.

- Tobias Harris (I don’t know if Morey will trade him, but he’s value went up this playoffs, thats great)
- Matisse Thybulle (I think he’s gone)
- Shake Milton (more likely he’s gone)
- Furkan Korkmaz (although he was resigned my Morey, I don’t see him being helpful in 2023 playoffs, so most likely he’s gone as well)
Sixers fan since 2001. From Russia.

I wouldn't mind trading Korkmaz and Milton to Indy for TJ, and then using the MLE on Delon Wright.

Chicago isn't smart enough to appreciate Coby White. We need a flamethrower off the bench. Thybulle plus salary for Coby White.

Korkmaz and Thybulle would work. Sign me up.

Would be a dream come true. I've been a huge believer in White since his freshman year. And I truly believe we're a ultra skilled bench scorer like him away from being a true champion favorite.

We need Pat Beverley. 3's, blocks, steals, and mean. This team is too nice.

^^^^^

Would take a Pat Bev who's older and less offensively explosive over a Coby White type for a 2 year championship push.

Pat Bev brings the intangibles like you've mentioned. He can also play on and off the ball, can lead a bench unit and most importantly run trusty minutes playing alongside Harden and Maxey because he defends.

A White/Maxey/Harden backcourt would be shambolic defensively. A Bev/Maxey/Harden backcourt is more primed for NBA playoff basketball.

I wish Bobby Portis was a Sixer man.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
