Time to either be canines with spears or go...well stay home.

Let me preface this with...I had no faith in THIS team for most of the year and not going out like hoes against Toronto was my personal championship lol. That being said, if we are going to lose...we need to do it in Miami and not at home at the very least.

I don't know if THIS team has it tho. It will be super easy to just fold and go into the good night...but I also didn't think this team would stave off failure against Toronto...and they did. As much as I doubted them throughout the year they have occasionally proven me wrong (not a hard thing to do tbf)...well lets see if they have one more **** you Mik317 in em.

I assume Dulcer will drop his graphics soon.

Going to a show so I won't be watching this one until late tomorrow night or Friday morning. Here's my question - should I watch as if I'm seeing it live, or save some possible huge aggravation by knowing the result before watching?

More value for entertainment if you watch it as if you’re seeing it live.

But if you want to analyze, its much better to know the result where there’s no emotion to cloud your judgement

After that nonsense on Tuesday night I honestly feel like the Heat would be perfectly fine with the Sixers winning this game because they know they wont lose on there home court to us. This Heat team amazes me quite frankly. Its amzing how good they are on defense and the boards when you look at there lineup its like 6'9 (Bam), 6'6 (Jimmy), 6'5 (PJ Tucker) , 6'0 (Lowry). and 6'5 (Strus). Bench is small too.

Because their guys drink redbull before games while our guys drink vegan soymilk, which Research has shown that soy milk can induce a natural sedative effect by improving the body's Melatonin levels.

If you don't know the result watch like it's live. But usually if I missed the game, I just fast forward possessions, and cut out all the fluff. My own version of highlights. If it's a tight game by the 4th quarter, I don't touch it and leave it until it's a timeout or a commercial break.

What’s concerning…

The Heat was effective defending both Harden and Embiid on single coverage on G5..

Game 4. The Heat collapse on their zone against Embiid. Remember when they took a clip when Doc was telling Jojo at the bench that when he gets the ball the defense would suck in?

Game 5. The Heat was not sending any help on Jojo. Jojo even tried to shoot a 3 early in the 1st quarter, which is unusual for me. I find the tape where Doc was telling the guys to have more energy and let the ball touch the paint was direct being told to Embiid. Embiid was just pulling up on mid range and 3s, he was struggling. It’s a big difference compared in G4, where he got like 8-10pts in the paint to punish the heat defense fronting him.

Lastly..

We lose every offensive possession where we have both Tucker and Adebayo on both Embiid and Harden. I dont know why are we not hunting Struss or Vincent? Is Embiid being defended by Tucker a mismatch? Is Harden being defended by Adebayo a mismatch?

What happened to those action where we have maxey-harden two man game then harden and Embiid 2 man game? Which was our way to hunt GTJ and FVV in the Raps series where the Raps put Barnes on Harden to negate the Biid-Harden PnR?

If we play focussed and communicate we should win. There was neither last game. It means nothing to look ahead at this point. I can’t imagine the hangover we saw will continue. I fully expect Harden to play aggressive and show us his best version tonight and moving forward.

Just keep the turnovers down. Playing a more controlled game should allow our talent to just outclass them. Stop forcing the post entry passes. If Embiid's not open, he's just going to have to be waived off.

After seeing the Warriors lay an equally smelly turd last night, I suddenly don't feel so bad about tonight's possibility. Maybe we needed to get our azz kicked to get our head right. But agree that they need to put up a big fight, win or lose.

I'll watch it as if it's live - I don't ever watch sports in real time, haven't for about 20 years now thanks to one of mankind's greatest inventions, the DVR. I generally cut out announcer blather, halftime, and commercials, but I'll rewind plays I want to see over again, so a game generally takes about two hours to watch.

This. Same recipe for success as it has been the whole series - take care of the ball, rebound, make them a half court team, and guard the 3-pt. line. As Kobble said, don't force it to Embiid, instead hunt mismatches and drive and kick for open 3's, which will fall at home like they usually do.

Quite frankly, I'll be a bit surprised if this isn't a comfortable win and we head back to Miami.

they used Biid as a decoy a lot in game 3. Go back to that, get Maxey and Tobias going, make the Heat have to adjust for once lol.

Spo is a much better coach and this gives Miami the real edge. If Spo was on our bench and Doc coached Miami, I'd be 90% sure we would win the series. Max Strus would probably be still playing in the G league lol and Duncan Robinson would get torched way worse than Curry against Atlanta. It takes knowledge and guts to make moves like Spo does. That being said, we should win this game.

I think we get in trouble when we get lazy with ball movement. We try too many skip passes and entries to Embiid where he has a seal in the technical definition but the angle or distance for the pass allows recoveries, swarm, and deflections. It's okay for Harden to make them because he's that good of a passer but everyone thinks they are Harden now with those long distance post entries. Miami is inviting them and we are taking the bait.

Just run the offense and don't get cute. That'll keep turnovers down and that mostly should be enough.

Get like last game we got in a jump shooting contest and we’re always gonna lose that. This team absolutely needs to attack the rim and get to the FT line. I expect 20 trips to the FT line from Harden & Embiid or else we get smoked.
