Sorry to hear that- feel better, dude.

He's fine, he's a tough kid :D

I played a full 40 minute basketball final feeling a bit **** not knowing it was covid. Would have missed it but it was a final and my last ever game. My immune system got really mad and I've spent the last few days **** cooked. Still worth it assuming I survive.

Haven’t you had more retirements than Jordan or am I misremembering? :D

If I go through our messages to each other I'd guess 50% are related to retirement.

Though amongst the others is a sweet finish through contact to get the whole team fired up, so it evens out :D

Draymond, of all people, calling Memphis and their fans frontrunners is hilarious. I feel like he became the quietest guy in the league when Steph and Klay were out.

Did they really change the mvp trophy into a glass ball or did they just give him the real one later and that was a gift? They would be pretty terrible if they changed it to that.

Also the eastern and western finals mvps are kinda cool but they’re like 30 years too late, kind of weird to just drop them in after 75 years. Technically should’ve been Jordan or Lebron for east but Larry vs magic is important nba history.

All the trophies I've seen this year have been glass balls. MVP, coach, 6th man, and DPOY.

Conference Finals MVP is just dumb. Who the **** was even asking for this?

As long as Giannis is the first recipient, that's all that matters.

Fans: "Mr. Silver, can we get rid of take fouls, start calling illegal screens, fine repeat flopping offenders, and overhaul the review process to speed up the game?"

Our actual management posted a lineup with the starting 2 guard being Tony Snell.

I'm not sure but maybe we can get one extra day of rest if the Sixers force a game 7 and we close the Celtics in 6.
So I'm going to be the biggest sixers fan tonight.

Embiid is the true MVP!
Harden is the greatest scorer of all time!
Doc Rivers is the best coach in the league!

I mean it makes sense to have a 'playoffs mvp' to remove cases like Iggy winning finals mvp when Lebron dominated.

Had to the dumbest mvp ever given. You get MVP for trying very hard and doing your best defending a far superior play who dominated you so badly that he put up one of the best modern nba finals stat lines ever and almost beat you single handedly. Like, at least if he'd done well and stopped LBJ it would make sense. Instead he got dominated, but clearly tried hard while doing, and he won anyway.

Need Philly and Dallas to win tonight. Need some non Bucks game 7's.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Who are you, my wife?

I think it might stick this time because

a. my team has now disbanded
b. having covid gave me all over body pain right where all my legacy basketball injuries are. Feels like I got a preview of my arthritic future and I don't think I can bear it if it gets any worse than that.
