I've made peace with this season.

Thybulle is the only person who has shot a FT for us tonight. We're not going to win like this.

I'm certainly not saying it's justified, but this is very much an optics league. To go from obliterating the Heat in the prior two games to sucking in the game after the MVP was announced and then to lose at home in an elimination game is simply a bad look from a legacy standpoint. Blame the legendary stories of Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan for the standard we place on players.

It's like if we blew it to the Raptors after being 3-0. Yea, it's a devastating, unprecedented blow to endure, but it would have been purely circumstantial (Embiid's injuries) and it's just a playoff series in a year we really aren't a true contender. The only bad part would have been the optics, tbh.

No, blame the fact that players like those have the character of champions. It's no accident they won many.

And if you want this franchise to ever win one again, you'll insist it has players with that kind of character.

LeBron lost his first finals with the heat because he had cramps. Does he possess this “character” you speak of?

In 2011 at 26 years old, LeBron had been to 3 Conference Finals, 2 NBA finals, including carrying the worst Finals team of all time in 2007.

To answer your question, Yes. Yes he did.

Embiids been fouled at least twice. It's such a shame how refs let him get abused.

How many shots did we miss?

Yeah, not happening

Matisse had so much space when he got the ball on that three, I honestly thought he should have drove and tried to slam it. At least bring a defender to you.

The defense is there. They've made nice shots and the real problem is they're getting second chances. Boards boards boards and chill with turnovers

Down by 3 but lost Danny. Thybulle is going to have to shoot with confidence from here on. Can it happen?

This has the vibes of a game where the Sixers trail by like 13 with 7 minutes left in the 4th. Sixers go on a last gasp run. Cut it to 4, crowd gets back into it, but fall short.

Nice, completely missing the point of my post. Playing poorly in a series, especially with debilitating injury, shouldn't determine one's character. Many factors go into it.

That's it Maxey. Go at their weaker defenders.

While i understand how the refereeing could change a little from regular season to post season, such extreme difference in calls is crazy. Embiid is getting hit every time down low, jimmy gets a little bump and goes to the line. frustrating.

They have hero and Robinson in. Maxey can attack that all day
