this.
jimmys toxicity and new found immaturity since becoming an nba player made it impossible to co-exist.
jimmy is a beta that have that type of personality.
knicks in a rebuild didnt even offer a contract.
have a soft spot for jimmy since was a bull but he must have ptsd from his childhood to act like a punk all the time,

This was a terrible post. In so many ways.

Yes, teams are allowed to have success outside of Butler. Jimmy got that team to the playoffs for the first time in ages.

Tobias Harris is giving the Sixers 17/7 and getting paid like a superstar, that's highway robbery and replacing him with Butler would have changed things for the Sixers.

Nobody on this planet thinks Tobias Harris is better player .
Almost everybody will agree he is a better person .
Jimmy is like a top 5 nba mercurial malcontent .
If your debating the x’s and and o’s your wasting your time .

Jimmy

What's wrong with Jimmy as a person? He's driven, motivated and expects his teammates to be as well. He's a young dude that wants to win.

I don't know anything about Tobias as a person but I know he's not worth what he's being paid and he has never taken a team to the playoffs like Jimmy has.

If you want nice friendly guys that don't rock the boat then you aren't going to win much.
Every title team has 1 or 2 dudes that will lose their mind if the team isn't competing.

That 2019 Sixers team was their apex.

What has Butler ever won though? Maybe win a ring before you go around pounding your chest like you’re somebody. I don’t disagree with him frankly that it was dumb to let him walk but I don’t see the need to rip Harris for it. It wasn’t his call.

Pretty classless from Jimmy there. Not to mention, Jimmy hasn't won anything in this league.

And I don't know the whole story here. I thought Jimmy chose to go to Miami? Did he want to come back to the Sixers?

Has nothing to do with that. He just beat a team in the playoffs that decided they didn't want him, I'd be talking smack to.

You probably know hardly anything about jimmy butler as well . Again basketball wise things are pretty clear , the fact that half the teams in the nba don’t have to infrastructure to placate a player like jimmy

Just tells me Jimmy Butler feels salty about the situation that unfolded and it occupies some space in his head. Better to have said nothing and be humble in victory. Butler being Butler.

I love Jimmy. He deserves to talk, he doesn't shrink in the moment. If they would have ran that sixers team back, they would have won.

Why Tobias? That was probably the right choice, they choose Ben over Butler

Its not a fact that half the teams in the NBA dont have an infrastructure to placate a player like Jimmy. Thats your opinion based of your preconceived notions and biases.

I always just assumed Jimmy wanted to leave and go to MIA regardless of what PHI offered BUT knowing that they let him slip away is just unforgivable imo. PHI always needed a hard nosed guy that was going to push Embiid (and Ben)....and if Ben couldn't handle it, big deal, then they should've flipped them as they did but for better surrounding pieces.

Idc if it's Shaq and Kobe or Wade, we've already seen a similar dynamic work. I know Jimmy isn't at the level of those guys but come Playoffs he's not drastically lower and the bigger thing is a culture setter of hard work and not cowering in big moments.

Not bringing back Jimmy will likely go down as what really ended the Process.

Same, I was under the impression that he wasn't sure about coming back.
