We should all wait until the lotto balls get pick before we fall in love with any prospect only for us to not realistically be in a position to pick them or for Presti to pick someone else .

Yeah I prefer to wait the lottery to have a better idea of who we can draft but it's fine to watch who's available between 5 and 15.

I also think it's more likely we move up in this draft if we end up with a 6th or 7th pick because of lack of great prospects (likely gonna be difficult to move up to top 2 but maybe 3rd or 4th).

There’s a limited number of team who would drop 2-3 spot just for pick 12. At least that’s what I would want to think now .

I think Johnny Davis is getting seriously slept on solely because he was playing through an injury during the tournament. His skillset at his size should be coveted way more. I know we have a glut of guards currently but I'd be absolutely elated to get him in our mix.

Davis has toughness that you can't teach. Good shot maker and solid athleticism. I'd be happy if OKC picked him up with #12 or even trade up to grab him.

Id rather have Davis at 4 than Ivey at 4 tbh. Ivey's athleticism is intriguing but I worry about the lack of left hand and 0 in between game.

I'm a bit skeptical about how Banchero's game gonna translate to the NBA tbh but he looks like a hard working guy and smart kid so maybe I'm wrong. Didn't watch enough of Johnny Davis but he's clearly the most "controvertial" guy in some mock drafts.

AJ Griffin would be a great fit to our team but I don't like his ceiling that much. I would rather gamble on Sharpe or Ivey even if we don't need another guard.

Jabari’s skillset appeals to me. Even if he doesn’t improve on his weaknesses, he can be a taller Klay Thompson. Maybe I’m just so desperate for some shooting I’m overvaluing him.

Banchero's size and self creation is undeniable imo. I think he's as proven as it gets in this class. The defensive criticisms are overblown and he's got too much that you can't teach.

Davis' arsenal as a scorer is unmatched by anyone else in this draft. If he hadn't gotten injured I think the consensus would have him alongside the other 3 dudes at the top just like it was at the start of the year.

I would strongly suggest watching Griffin's high school tape. What he proved this year is his value as an offball player and someone who's J is gonna be ultra reliable. Before his slew of (not horrible) injuries his athleticism really popped. This year at Duke we saw a version of him that couldn't leave the ground (though he slowly gained more burst as the season went on.) I think the ceiling for him is sky high but all dependent upon his ability to regain his previous form.

Vecenie mentioned him as a guy you know won’t get played off the floor in a playoff series, whereas you can’t say the same the Chet or Banchero.

Feel like there's a big gap between top 8 and players at 12-14 so wonder how much it will cost to move up with the LAC pick (I only like Duren at 12 but doubt he will fall to that spot). I also like Dieng but picking him at 12 is maybe a reach.

Kind of draft I would rather try to move up to pick two players in the top 8 instead of moving up with our own pick if we get unlucky in the lottery.

tough as nails competitor with the mindset to guard the best players. solid shooting stroke from mid and a developing 3. quick first step, strong for size, team player, wants to win, fiery, passionate.

I'm not sure he can guard the 3 consistently, and his fit alongside Shai and Giddey is not ideal, but any team would love to have him.
