It wouldn’t have mattered in this series without Khris but having hca as long as you can is always a sustainable, recipe for success. It doesn’t guarantee a trip to the later rounds of course as we see now, but having the best player + more games at home is usually all you need.

The heat are in the ecf not because they’re one of the two best teams in the east(they’re still really good), but because they had the two easiest opponents thus far.
