Who gets the most blame for the Suns collapse?

Post#1 » by Water Gator » Mon May 16, 2022 3:07 am

CP3? Booker? Ayton? Monty?

After being up 2-0 it looked like all but a formality for them to steamroll the Mavs and move on to the next round. How do you go from that to a 33 point loss (should have been more) in a game 7 at home. Also did COY Monty actually get outcoached by Jason Kidd?

CP3, he is the veteran leader and he had a terrible game. That being said, all of the starters sucked.

Thats tough all 4 were pathetic. I'm going to go with Booker tho because he is supposed to be the young star and man the ship but he's soft as charmin. CP3 is 50 years old you can't rely on that every game.

I hope the Suns don't scapegoat this on Monty, I fear they might though.

Booker. He needs to know his role. He woke up the beast in Luka and the Mavs.

CP3. He legit looked like he got his talents drained from him like Space Jam after his birthday.

CP3 was amazing all playoffs, but man, if a team relies on a guy with that much mileage to lead them to the finals... that's just not a recipe for success. They really need another top tier guy alongside Booker and CP3 really should be the 3rd best player on their team.

Cliff and Jenner's boyfriend equally. Also yes, Kidd outclassed Monty. That's not a knock on Monty though. Kidd was exceptional and did an amazing job making sure his team was prepared in this series and especially in game 7.

Yeah, when your team collectively Amber Heards the bed, theres very little adjustment a coach can make. His two best guys did a disappearing act.

CP3 has had this happen how many times already? I'd rather have prime Deron Williams in the playoff

lol at Cp3 amazing "all playoffs"

meaning against a 35 win 9 seed who only got in b/c Pg13 randomly got Covid before playin game

so he could abuse a horrible playoff defense.......Cp3 was garbage in the playoffs against an actual legit playoff team

Yeah, it would be like the Pels firing him just so they could replace him with Alvin Gentry. No reason for that.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.
