Re: ATL - Suns Implode
I would be shocked if Boston didn't run Miami off the floor. They are a much better team assuming they aren't all burnt out from flopping on Giannis for 7 games. In fact I would be pretty surprised if anyone takes Boston past 6 games assuming no major injuries.
The championship already took place imo.

Re: ATL - Suns Implode
Yep
I hate the Celtics more than the Heat right now and for the bonus, I'd like to see the Heat lose in the finals again for the 2nd time in 3 years
Go Luka
Ditto on the PJ Tucker
Bucks offseason moves are 1) Find a wing defender and 2) Find a small ball 5
PJ Tucker was both and now we're paying Grayson Allen the same money as PJ Tucker
So dumb

Agenda alert---I'm very interested in watching the ECF. Can't stand Boston and want them out. PJ Tucker playing a big role helpful to embarrass our owners into paying the cash for a title team.
Just as fate would have it, PJ Tucker with his new team gets to face the Celtics with a trip to the NBA Finals at stake, less than 48 hours after the Celtics ended the Buck's season. Other than actually playing the Bucks in the ECF, you couldn't script this any better for PJ.
Seeing how much PJ's impact helps the Heat against the team that just knocked out the Bucks makes this series must see TV for me. I obviously love the Bucks, but I am rooting for PJ to stick it to the penny pinching billionaires who own the Milwaukee Bucks.

I had the same thought but he tends to promote and hire a back bencher.

I hope he gets it. Seems like a great fit to me.emunney wrote:MickeyDavis wrote:
Jumping to conclusions a bit but congrats to Ham, long overdue for an opportunity.
Decided I'm rooting for a Mavs vs Celtics series. I really can't stand Miami and the Warriors kind of bore me now.

He is crucial for Suns just as Adebayo is for Heat because they set great screens (and that is main offense for both Suns and Heat) and are great for switching defense because they can defend multiple positions.
This playoff Ayton clearly had chemistry problem with coach and maybe thinking about next contract was behind it all (wanted more touches for better contract for example). But he is very very good player and very very important for what Suns do. If they lose him I predict they will fail to be top 4 at west next year.
He is not good 3 point shooter though so not good option for us. But teams that have 3p shooter at PF should kill for him.
Adebayo can handle the ball.

I’m not rooting any particular team but that does certainly suck.

Health and safety covid or health and safety concussion?
Its covid. He 100% had it for game 7 and BOS covered it up. I know it.

I don't think they'd do that. That'd be pretty low.

Re: ATL - Suns Implode
Missed this from Embiid earlier in the week.
You look at someone like P.J. Tucker. Great player, but it’s not about him knocking down shots. It’s about what he does, whether it’s on the defensive end or rebounding the ball. You look at, obviously, defensively, he plays with so much energy, believes that he can get from point A to point B, and he believes that no one can beat him. And he’s tough. He’s just physical, and he’s tough. And they have a few of those guys, whether it’s Bam and all those guys. And since I’ve been here, I’d be lying if I said that we’ve had those types of guys. Nothing against what we have, it’s just the truth. We never had P.J. Tucker. That’s really what I’m trying to say. So, I think physicality – especially once you get to the playoffs or the later rounds – you need that. You need those guys that are really tough.

That's pretty convenient, Boston. I'm sure there's no way Al wasn't positive two days ago.
