And maybe you're right. I guess I'm viewing this all through my own opinion, which is that Sochan should be a top 10 pick and if he drops, not make it past the lottery. And any team that gets him will and should consider it a steal and be unwilling to trade him. But maybe the NBA will disagree. I keep seeing Agbaji in the lottery and he's a 20-30 guy for me at best so maybe I'm just way off.
I thought that was the case.
Agreed on Agbaji, I think he has a high floor where he can be a 3/D guy, who has a chance to be a bit more because he can create a little bit and he has some nice athleticism. However, I am a jayhawks fan and watched a lot of him and he has that role-player mentality, not a star. He coasts and isn't assertive. That's fine, just some might want to swing for a core piece where he's just going to be a good player, never a great one, IMO.
Yeah, personally I don't see him developing beyond that 3&D role. I can see an argument for that, but just can't personally see it.
Although that's still a 10 year career kind of guy.
I need to watch some more of Tari Eason. I never realized how many points he was putting up? Is he that good of a scorer?
He's got decent handles and played a lot of C in college, not to mention his defence led to a lot of transition opportunities.
I really like Eason. Not sure I like some of the Kawhi hype I've seen but if he turns out like a OG Anunoby or healthy DeAndre Hunter I wouldn't be surprised.
Also didn't realize that Liddell averaged that many blocks.
The guy has elite defensive instincts. If he were 2 inches taller he'd probably be a top 6 pick.
I'm not sure he's ever more than a role player but he's a real seamless fit for what we do and need.
All 3 guys(with Sochan) make a lot of since in different ways for us. That's why I think Vando could be used as trade bait, I love what he brings and he could be more effective playing less minutes, still only 22, but his value is probably the highest it's been while he's signed onto a super cheap deal.
I'd keep Vando around, although he's approaching Okogie levels of "just get a freaking average shot already!".
To me, Naz is the guy that needs to be replaced. There's just no point in a poor man's KAT for us.
