Realgm wrong again. Thing is Warriors got Wiggins and Kuminga who I think may end up being better than Wiggins

Some Warriors fans really aren't in any position to flex on this

He took the cheque and mailed it in. The fact he's not performing and doing the small things on a title contender still screams he didn't care. So No. Not apologising. We still did well to kick his leech ass to the curb
100%
Minnesota was in a no-win situation with him, its hard to get someone with the #1 pick, max extend them, and then say "oh, he's probably better in a support role". That just doesn't happen
He's definitely a guy that needs to be handled with care. But I dont think this is about MIN fans and their experience, its the idea that he's not a key part of our team and its success

The Andrew Wiggins of Golden State is a much better defensive player than the Andrew Wiggins of Minnesota.

He simply isn’t a number one option. When he’s on a team that his scoring isn’t required he can just focus on doing all of the little things really well. Minny was too dumb to realize this.

Wiggins to Minni for DLo and two firsts.
Minni can MAX Wiggins again.
Then in another 2 years, the Warriors can trade some random overpaid dude to Minni for Wiggins and another 1st. Keep the cycle going.

Well the thing is he just never appeared to be one of those "little things" type of role players. Didn't rebound well and wasn't really a ballhawk on defense. Wasn't a hustle guy or locker room leader or any of that. He was just a really below average 1st option and not much else.
But he's showed more as that type of role player late this season and these playoffs more than ever. He's hustling, rebounding and even making the occasional clutch basket. Hes sticking his nose in the scrum and fighting for rebounds and loose balls.

People underestimate how Raw Wiggins was coming out of college. He’s only had one year of REAL high level coaching prior to joint Golden St, and that was at Kansas.

Yea, that’s the point. You can’t go balls to the wall doing the little things if you are being asked to carry the offense.

Maybe it's Minnesota. Culture is more impactful than you think. Butler got ran out of town for trying to build a culture in Minnesota. Jokes on them.

I don’t recall many calling him a bust. He was criticized for being overpaid and not a well rounded as a player, which was true at the time and therefore fair IMO. I also don’t remember everybody saying Minny won that trade. I couldn’t believe Minny would include that pick for a guy who was also pretty one dimensional. I think many looked at it as a desperation move by the Wolves to keep Towns happy by bringing in his buddy and overpaid to do that.

Why didn’t Pat Bev get run out of town?

Is that why they got as far with Pat Bev as Jimmy Butler?

Apologize for what? He's the 4th best player on his team now, and earning way more than he's worth. Congrats on achieving 4th banana status Andrew!
