Horford is so huge for the Celtics.
Do you think he deserves to make the HOF?
He's been a winner his entire career. I would take him over a lot of so-called stars. It's a close call if the Celtics make the Finals in my opinion.
Love Horford but I don't. He's like a souped up Horry. Even his last name. You're correct that a chip this year strengthens the case substantially.
Soooooooo first ballot?

JVG speaking that truth, you remove the small PG from the lineup and you can switch 1-5 if you build the team properly.

Elfrid Payton come on down. Suns would have dominated.

what is a "small pg" in the modern nba now?
i went to uni in boston and have a lot of friends who are c's fans who complain about how "small" smart is despite being 6'4. i kinda consider him mid but i guess i'm mistaken if jvg considers celtics lineup the modern nba size
so ... what is passable in terms of size to you now @ the 1?

Small guards are
Trae
Kemba/Rose
Garland
CP3
JA
Curry
Fox
Dame
Kyrie
You'll notice I didn't mention guys like Lowry or FVV, because they're stocky which allows them to stone wall guys who try to post them up. Almost all of the guys named above are slight build, 6'3" and under, someone like Smart is a multi-positional defender because he's got the wingspan to guard up, and he's stronger than most wings who would try and drive on him or post him up. You can even put him on some weaker stretch bigs (KP

Robert Horry should be in the HoF.
I like Horford, but no HoF yet.
