Who's the second most important player in Dallas after Luka? As a bonus, you can also list the top 5 most valuable in the team

Jalen Brunson $25,000,000
Dorian Finney-Smith $12,402,000
Dwight Powell $11,814,815
Maxi Kleber $9,000,000
Spencer Dinwiddie $18,000,000
Reggie Bullock $10,012,800
Dāvis Bertāns $16,000,000
Hardaway Jr. $19,602,273
Brunson. Assuming JB will be signed at $25M/yr, looks to me Finney-Smith and Bullock are two of the best contracts next year. Without counting Luka's $36M max extension, it is already over the salary cap

I'd be between Brunson and DFS, leaning Brunson. Two of the handful of least appreciated players in the league imo.

I think its Doe Doe, but I won't fight anyone who thinks its Brunson.

Top 5 pretty clearly:

Luka, DFS, Brunson, Bullock, Kleber

Not that I can say I've watched them a ton all season, but DFS always jumps out to me. Just the type of player every team would love to have

Not going to pretend to have watched a lot of Mavs games, and this is a comp out, but I think it is their overall defense which doesn't have any traditional anchor type

I would go with DFS, just the type of versatile 3&D player every team would kill to have

It's Spencer Dinwiddie. If the Mavs still had Porzingis instead of Dinwiddie, I don't think they get past the first round.

I agree re: Porzingis but think that's more about addition by subtraction than Dinwiddie per se
