At no point has the general public displayed any application of deeper thought.

In terms of hatred/animosity, it's Chicago-Detroit.

Would’ve been Cavs/Warriors but KD had to take the easy way out and ruin everything.

Now we’ll never know who was better after the Dubs won in 2015 and Cavs won in 2016z. Robbed of the rubber match.

Chicago-Detroit in late 80's-early 90's and Lakers-Spurs in 2000's. Golden State-Cleveland had potential but KD ruined it. Not because Golden State became unbeatable, because they didn't, it just wasn't authentic anymore.

That's what I liked about it. You had total opposites going at it. The loud big personality that is the Los Angeles Lakers and Big Shaq taking on San Antonio led by Tim Duncan.

Having them both be exactly the same wouldn't make it any better imo. So yeah. Even though I hated seeing LA lose to them in 1999 and 2003. I respect that rivalry and say it's the biggest one since Magic/Bird imo. I think it be an even bigger deal if those teams could have faced off in the actual NBA Finals instead but we get what we get.

I would've said LeBron vs the East from 2008-2018. LeBron went against BOS, IND, and TOR always with different teams and teammates. The LeBronto series was particularly hilarious.

To add onto the above, Lebron vs. Boston is a big one that I think should have been added.
