Derrick White, Daniel Theis and Aaron Nesmith must really like Boston because there is not much more that they could possibly do to lower their trade value.

Thats not an opinion, thats hating. How can you call a worst 40 pts performance in PO history when he played a fantastic 4th quartier, he shoot 70 more % from the floor, 11/11 from 2, 9/12 on FT line, a great block that gave US life. We shoot a lot of FT because he was constantly in attack mode putting Miami in bonus.
And with two minutes left on the clock he never touched the ball again. When the game was on the line smart and Tatum lost the ball several times.
He had a bad stretch of 3/4 minutes in the third. Thats it.
Sometimes people have to motivate their opinions.
This guy is just about hate. And you can seed that in every post he makes.

Stick around long enough and you might find yourself agreeing with posters who’s opinions you despised a year or two ago.

I agree with you on Jaylen. He gets a lot of undeserved criticism and certainly is graded tougher than Tatum and Smart on this board but that doesn’t necessarily mean the critics have an axe to grind or are out to get Jaylen. 99.9% chance it’s just honest opinions.

There’s only so many times you can shoot yourself in the foot before you run out of toes. The Celtics are playing with fire because of their lapses in consistency. And the gnawing feeling in the stomach that most Celtics fans feel on Sunday morning is the fear that Boston is spoiling a real opportunity to hang another banner.

With one disastrous 12-minute stretch, the Celtics now find themselves in what feels like a must-win situation entering Game 4.

The Heat are so well coached and so opportunistic that the Celtics may have just lost the series by not showing up for game 3. The Heat a don’t seem bothered by our defense - that has to change. Unlike the Bucks where their physicality was always a threat, however, I just don’t feel we should lose this series….even down 2-1. We didn’t deserve to win game 3 but it was served up to us on a platter and the team just refused to take it.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I want to purge all my negativity before game 4 so here goes:

-That was about as bad a game on offense as I've seen Tatum play. Not because he missed shots, but because he seemed to shrink from the moment and not want the ball. He made some panic passes that led to terrible turnovers and baskets on the other end as a result. Hope his head is right today, he's proven he can bounce back.

-Jaylen deserves some crap for turning the ball over, but it's gotten out of control. Too often they handed him the ball with 5 or 6 seconds on the clock and he had to create while the whole Miami defense was waiting for him. Also, Jaylen operates better when people clear out for him -- he doesn't need a pick to get by his guy, and bringing someone over just creates more traffic for him to navigate, which is not his strength. The spacing was off in general this game since Tatum wasn't a factor.

-I've been an ardent Ime supporter all year and can't blame him for the team coming out cold when by all accounts he tried to get them ready. That said, starting Theis with RW3 out seemed like a Brad "gotta go with the double bigs" move. I know he only played 11 minutes, some after Grant fouled out, but starting the game with Theis put us behind from the jump.

-I'm tired of the whining about the Celtics' FT advantage... if you ask me, Miami came into game 3 realizing that if they just play us straight they will lose, so they decided to play incredibly physical and turn it into a wrestling match and make the refs call stuff. That's the reason we shot so many more FTs... along with Butler going out. Let's not forget that both Smart and Grant fouled out while the Heat had only one guy with more than 3 fouls (Strus).

-Finally, I don't understand why the league scheduled this series all back-to-back games, especially after we came out of a very physical 7 game series against the Bucks. Wouldn't you want to have healthy players for competitive, high caliber games in the playoffs? Why are there 82 regular seasons games if lots of guys just end up taking days off for rest? And then after 82 games we jam a 7 game series into 14 nights with 1 day of rest? Wouldn't this series be better for both Miami and Boston if everyone was able to play and got an extra day of rest on travel nights? It's stupid... degrade the quality of your playoffs for no obvious reason. And the start times also suck.

Ok, deep breath haha. Back to positive mind state... let's bounce back like we have all season and take Game 4!!!
