One decent perk for season ticket holders next year is complimentary subscription to NBA League Pass. Not sure how much I'll use it but think its normally like $160+.

I'd tell them to give me something worthwhile that I'd actually use.

So they're going to build yet another concert venue, this time on the former Bradley Center site.

https://onmilwaukee.com/articles/fpc-venue-announcement.

This of course is different from the people who announced the soccer stadium. hotel and concert venue near Marquette last week.

Just can't see the demand in this market.

Yeah between the two new venues and the Eagles Ballroom that's 3 different 3,500-4,000 capacity general admission standing room venues all within a couple miles of each other.

Don’t forget Franklin Gimbel spending $48 million of our tax dollars to renovate the Milwaukee auditorium. I mean that 3,500 seat venue is literally across the street. And then you’ve got the new Symphony building for $90 million. Realize those venues are different, but we just don’t have the population base.

The Milwaukee Theater, or whatever it's called now, is very nice. And rarely used. Over the summer they have 3 graduations and 2 concerts. The rest of the year they have Amy Schumer and a couple of kids shows. Gimbel approved and spent the money with no other approvals needed. Total waste. Took a long time to get him ousted from the WCD.

The Riverside is probably one casualty of all this, which is a shame, it's still a nice place.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

A lot of midsized/indie shows leapfrog Milwaukee from Chicago to Minneapolis. I think these new options will fill the void for such acts… although two might be overkill.

In Denver I can think of a decent number of mid sized venus within a few miles of eachother: Filmore, Ogden, Bluebird, Cervantes, and The Mission (probably missing a few). Granted Denver doesn't have to contend with other cities in terms of draw as it's in the middle of nowhere.
Inadequate perception I reckon it's from the Valium

The existing options blow for concerts in Milwaukee.

Live Nation has frozen out Pabst/Riverside/Turner for a few years now, especially since Sylvee in Madison opened

Frank Productions (Live Nation subsidiary) opening the venue at the Bradley Center makes sense to me and the BC site is much better than Third Ward.

Some of those concerts will start to come through Milwaukee again

But, yeah, someone has to lose out on this.

The first casualty is a welcome sight in the Rave, they've found a niche with more hardcore stuff that would never be booked at the other venues, but the rare national acts that are shoehorned at the Eagles Ballroom will never have to again.

But, the Pabst/Riverside/Turner group also opening a venue at the soccer stadium is the more headscratcher.

I'm just not sure how that doesn't hurt themselves.

Yes I am getting those too today. Must be some sort of hiccup. Too lazy to call them and find out.

Is there anyone on here who sells their tickets on seetgeek? Looks like they ask us to upload screenshots of the mobile tickets and I'm wondering if that works. Don't want to sell and then be told it didn't work for the buyer.

I'm probably too sensitive to it, but it always rubs me the wrong way where they act as STH can just show up to things with little notice during business hours. Thankfully I'm in a flexible job where I can usually make it work but not this time. It is like that for basically any event or promo. I think trophy we had 6 days notice and was middle of a weekday, end of season event was promoted like 4 days in advance on weeknight, they wait until the last minute to provide ticket prices, but expect a decision in 2 weeks for something that is 8 months away. If I couldn't make these things work due to life (I know people who have to ask off a month or more in advance), it would really drive me nuts.

HERE IS AN EXTREMELY AWESOME STH PERK, MEET ME THIS THURSDAY 10-1030! Just give STH an extra 20% off or something. And this isn't even something that was time sensitive based on game scheduling or trying to line up Mo Williams for a Bucks legend night. It is having a sale at a pro-shop....

Hope there are some nice deals and not "championship locker room tees for 80% off and everything else 10% off".

I'm with you. Over half my STH points were used on Meet an Alumni player and I was given 48 hours notice on BJ3 and 24 hours on Dandridge. I was lucky that I had intentions all along to go to the BJ3 Heat game. It is kind of frustrating, especially as a STH that can't just be at the Fiserv in 15-30 minutes.

I'm definitely year to year at this point. I'm hopeful the loyalty package improves. I could see resale going either way depending on the offseason.

I'm year to year as well. Prepare yourself for resale to plummet even more than this year. There is not many casual fans that want to make the drive to MKE to have their car stolen or be shot at. Until crime declines people are going to stay the F out of MKE.

Yeah that has crossed my mind. I wonder if the deer district debacle carries over and people stay away.
