i honestly was thinking in 1 year term senses

all these guys were either massive 2 way players and were historically great in one end of the court and really strong kn the other

russel is the exception but he is the ultimate outlier in one way impact for his own era, his peak defensive impact for the 60's is probably higher than magic or curry peak offensive impact for their eras

Curry helmed the best RS team of all time & more or less forced the rest of the league the change the way they play if they wanted any chance of keeping up. By peak he's got as good a case as anybody for #5 after the MJ, LBJ, KAJ & WILT tier.

Giannis & Nikola close, but edge to GA for being a more versatile defender & scoring 50 to secure a chip.

AD in the bubble was one of the best Robins ever so 30-35 feels right.

I'd probably have Luka & Embiid in the 35-45 range since neither has won an MVP or even made a finals yet, but obviously still plenty of time to move up as I don't think either (Luka especially) have had their peak season yet.

i'm not convinced steph's case is as strong as shaq's. shaq led a 67-15 team, averaged 31/15 in the POs, and 38/17 in a finals W.
