Jerami Grant could be a trade target in the offseason with a Herro and Duncan package. The salaries match. Duncan’s college coach is in that front office. I know it’s not the sexy splashy star name but it’s a 20ppg starting PF to put along side Bam.

Honestly we will be lucky to get anything done in the offseason.. though Arison may tell Riley he wants to offload some contracts.. you may see Rileu package some contracts for expirings if possible. It may be a multi team trade but i doubt they want to see robinsons contract until the end.

I know everyone is against blowing it up and rebuilding but just THINK for one damn second. Just look at all the scrubs that this Heat organization has turned from G league scrub to legit rotation pieces. This heat team has amazing development squad. Just imagine what we could’ve done with a Luka Doncic! You think he would be showing up like a chubby kid like he does for the Mavs?? Just imagine what this heat “culture” could do with a couple number 1 picks. We literally turn trash into gold. Time and time again.

The one time we tank we landed this young kid from Chicago named D Wade. We turned that guy into a top 3-4 SG of all time. We need Riley to set us up for the future. We need this coaching team/development squad around when we have a real pick to work with.

After that if I haven’t changed your mind you will never get it.

I don’t want to squeak in a lil title one time and then back to treadmill. I want us to have something to look forward to for 15+ years.

The team needs both an offensive and defensive scheme refinement this offseason. It may be time to end the small-ball experiment of having Bam at the permanent 5 slot, and it may be time to end the rapid 'switch-everything' defense - as it leads to other bigs getting easy baskets in the paint. Starting next year I would love to see a starting frontcourt of Bam and Yurt, with Adebayo having the go-ahead to shoot three pointers.

If this ends in devastating fashion on Friday, Spo will have his work cut out for him, and so will Riley.
