Thats just nonsense. KD, if used right, cant be stopped without double teams. Thats a good way to make anyone better.

Kyrie leaving is the best thing that can happen to KD imho. I'm not so sure he'd be so sad, he knows Kyrie caused the whole drama and cost him one of his last good seasons. WIthout Kyrie's shananigans, Harden might have stayed and played engaged; instead KD had to try to play point guard and looked horrible.

 I feel so bad for KD.He deserve a much better team

Guess you're just trolling/baiting which is not really what this board is for, but i'll reply anyway. I think if you are here to watch good basketball, you absolutely should want KD, a generational player of this and the previous decade and frequent MVP candidate, to play on a relevant team. KD as a player isnt one to get swept in the first round, if surrounded by decent guys (not talking superteams here). I know some "fans" enjoy their guys blow out everyone by 30 points game after game but i would love to see our best players compete as long and hard as possible. So yes, KD should have a better team, so should Jokic, and Dame. Its a shame we watch them suffer because they are loyal to their team.

Everyone seems to have forgotten the Clippers also exist, and have had almost identically disappointing results after giving into a star players desire to make a radical roster move.

The Clippers just had our best season in franchise history last year, making the conference finals for the first time ever. We won more series in that playoff run alone than the Nets have in the entire KD/Kyrie era. Hell, even our bubble meltdown was already better than the entire KD/Kyrie era. So no, it's not "almost identically disappointing results." The Nets' failure has been cataclysmic. If anything, it's identical to... the Billy King Nets. Or the Kidd/Vince Nets.

Also, Kawhi and PG aren't making fools of themselves all the time like KD and Kyrie do on a regular basis. Their antics bring even more mockery to the Nets.

I am here to watch good basketball, which means I want to see a competitive product, which means I love how KD's plan of breaking the league all over again (but with him getting all the credit this time) backfired on him this badly. It was bad enough watching him "win" the cheapest and most unearned rings in sports history with the Warriors. He deserves every bit of this Nets fiasco and I don't feel any sympathy for him.

I agree on the Warriors, that team caused an imbalance and predictability just like LeBrons Heatles. I dont agree that he tried the same in Brooklyn, i think the team he went with was 100% legit normal / average in talent, and he came off a very severe injury. If you dont like him thats one thing, but what you say indicates that you do not really care for great basketball. Talent has nothing to do with sympathy.

Absolutely. KD went form having a super team with Harden and Irving and being couple of cm away from beating Milwaukee, to having his championship window almost completely closed. Those who think KD can win with Ben Simmons are completely delusional.

What about Boston when Garnett teamed up with Pierce and Allen? That was a "superteam" by definition.
