This is not the same Bam in the regular season. That's the point. He's not even looking to make a jumper. When he does make a jumper, he hesitates first. He's not even looking at the basket. He's a max player looking to defer to everyone else. I get that Williams is a great player, but Bam is not even looking to be aggressive. I don't care if prime Tim Duncan is guarding him. 1 FGA is unacceptable. IDC if it's not part of the scheme. The ball is in his hands and he either turns the ball over or bricks a shot.

What do you mean 1 FGA? He had 15 tonight.

The scheme has him doing DHOs non stop. Change it and put him in a position to attack and score. Tell him that’s what you want and I guarantee he puts those numbers up. When he has that mindset and we have that gameplan he dominates

I know. I'm exaggerating and speaking in general. There's times where doesn't even shoot which is what I meant. I get that it's the scheme, but the ball gets in his hands and he doesn't look to do anything. I agree with you that he can dominate when he has the mindset, but he rarely does. There's some mental block affecting him. I don't know if coaching has gotten into his head. But he is completely frozen right now mentally.

Pritchard is the Celtics MVP for injuring Jimmy in a play the media hasn’t even talked about lol

dont know what to say. Jimmy might be bipolar. How he dominates and puts up 40, and then just vanishes . He is so inconsistent, I am done with him. I dont know what his deal is but im done.

It’s been drilled into his head to create for others and our shooters for the last 2-3 years. It just takes some tinkering to the scheme, probably in the offseason to change this. Just don’t know if we will with the league revolving so much around 3 point shooting and our team having a bunch of screen merchants that have to run off Bam

He’s literally injured. He’s been the best player in the league all playoffs up until that dirty **** Pritchard pulled

Was he injured last year too cause he was trash last playoffs

I feel he is too inconsistent. I want off the Jimmy train.

I miss Dwyane Wade. Doesn't matter who we played against, Wade always brought his A game.

Except that 2014 Finals. His knee gave up on that series.

Heat beat the Celtics, Wade going off, even though the Heat were down 0-3 in the series........... Wade still going down swinging like a champion.

meanwhile jimmy...........

Jimmy can be inconsistent because he has no perimeter game so he has to drive to the paint to manufacture points. That doesn't work against bigger teams and good defensive teams who don't foul him when he drives. That also puts massive strain on his body. Jimmy is not meant to be the first scorer. He's capable, but not every game. Yet he has to be because everyone else sucks. This is why this team is deeply flawed. This team has not complimented Jimmy with reliable scorers. Jimmy is a perfect player on the wing when you have player like a Dame or Mitchell scoring. Literally 3 of our starters can't shoot (Jimmy, Bam, Lowry) really at all. And Struss and PJ Tucker are mainly 3 spot up shooters. The whole starting unit doesn't compliment each other at all. There is no spacing.

great season heat fans... been fun... i never liked this heat team but will always support my team nonetheless. we need to move on from this team, literally tear it the fk down man... get rid of everyone. and rebuild this sht.. poorly constructed team, and too much dead weight on the team. i look at this team and the only talented player on it is butler, you cant win a championship like this.

Strus hit that dagger in Game 3, but has literally not made a shot since. Just a shocking free fall.

Is Scott Foster going to show up on Friday to extend this one for us? Or is Adam Silver still butthurt over the Lowry collusion?

How sad to lose a pick and get the league on our ass just to land a glorified Mike Bibby.

Jimmy is not a franchise player. He's a second option at best.

We need a legit franchise player, where we give them the ball and they can find the bucket for some points.

We’re talking about completely gutting a team with a finals appearance and ECF appearance possibly both derailed by injury. That’s just not logical, especially when we have the pieces to improve the team. Go all in this summer to improve, if it doesn’t work by the end of Lowrys contract (if he’s still there) figure out what direction to go in. We’re built for the now and for the future but we can still better our team

Not fair to compare Jimmy to a top 15-20 player ever and a guy who would easily be the best player in the league today lol

From #1 in 3P% in the Regular Season to 7/45 tonight. One helluva market correction for our jolly group of role players.

i dont get this thinking... sry... finals appearances and ECFs are not titles. we have retooled this team again n again now... and it continues to be nothing but running into a brick wall... we got embarrassed against the lakers, and in this series agains boston we nearly went a quarter with 1 point..... there is serious flaws with this roster, and yes its time to tear it down. if not, i hope pat enjoys his current ring count because he will not be adding any more to his collection. Every team has to rebuild once in awhile, golden state tanked for years to build there core, and celtics too... what we need is to bring a real superstar to miami, not build treadmill teams like present.
