Jabari shoots close to the same percentage guarded 3-pointers as Paolo does unguarded.Skybox wrote:drsd wrote:pepe1991 wrote:Watch JAuburn vs Miami, especially second half and tell me with straight face Jabari Smith adds much value to a team when his shots aren't falling. He sets no screens, he will basically shoot everything he touches, he doesn't even screen for offball action, he just waits for ball to hoist it up. On defense he was mailing in and doing half a** efforts by mostly fishing for rebounds.
Jabari isn't bad prospect, he is definition of complimentary peace player that will have long career in nba. But he isn't first overall pick prospect, even if draft is as bad as this one is.

For me Smith is not the 25 ppg player every team needs. He is the player to take the final shot to win the game.
p.s. I am still very concerned that the Magic will not have a 20 ppg SG next year.

Context...If Jabari isn't scoring for Auburn on a given night- who is? He knows he's the one and only hope-like JJ at Duke. Kind of like Cole believes every night. Jabari, with some support, will be an even better weapon than he's been on his own. Paolo for ROY, Jabari for biggest win improvement for his team, Chet for...tallest, I guess.
