Reading through the Wiggins dunk on Luka thread makes me feel better. Everytime I get bummed about our series, I'll look at Wiggs destroying Fat Luka.

Suns fans hating on the Mavs/Luka is pretty petty. The only team you can get mad at for losing is the Suns. They didnt even try. Didnt even show up. Even if the Mavs get swept we still look more pathetic.

Yeah I hated the Mavs when we played but emotions are usually high during a playoff series. I'm pretty neutral on them now, as I was before the series started. I am certainly more frustrated with the Suns choking than anything

Boston shot terrribly from 3 too. Look at the rebound differential. Specifically look at the starters rebounds for Boston. Heck, even Derrick White.

Luka's legacy took a leap when he led his team to destroying the Suns who had been dominating the league all season. Now he further adds to it as he leads his team to a historic 4 in a row to go to the finals. Check your local listings.

Monty would NEVER have the awareness to get ahead of the momentum/ride like that.

In hindsight had we just played our bench in games 3 and 4 it would have kept our starters fresh for the rest of the series but you never play to lose a game because you like to close it in as few games as possible. Still wish Monty was more flexible in game so he isn't always matching what the opposition is doing to us.

the other thing Kerr does is he plays all his guys throughput the year to really develop players so those guys get a chance to play meaningful minutes throughout the year.

To be fair, his top two players shouldn't even be playing. Jimmy is on one knee and Lowry might as well just not suit up. And their third star is limited offensively. All things considered, reaching ECF game 6 is not bad for their circumstances.

I think some of the Monty criticism is asinine but this is fair. He's very slow to take the bad momentum time out.

That's actually an old Phil Jackson philosophy, he thought it was good for players to play through runs. I actually don't mind it in the regular season but in the playoffs you should be using them more liberally because runs can come quick and hard these days with all the 3s. 4 possession can be a 10+ point swing.
