Fun fact. Butler played in the playoffs with 4 all-star centers

Jimmy with Noah at center 2nd round - 2x
Jimmy with KAT at center 1st round
Jimmy with Embiid at center 2nd round
Jimmy with Bam at center nba finals + ECF

Figure it out

I remember people calling Adebayo the "perfect modern day big" on these forums

Jimmy Butler should leave since Miami has shown they can't do enough to win a championship ala Lebron and his first run in Cleveland.....

Simmons was the one that forced Butler out. As usual Sicers brass made the wrong decision.

Also, Butler didn't need Philly to make the Finals. He did it in 2020 and possibly 2022.

Bam is a great player but yeesh that offer would be laughed off the table

What if Miami added Herro? Maybe Philly adds in Shake

Bam+Herro for Embiid+Milton

Still a hard pass. The only way that offer would merit consideration is if Embiid requested out

why couldn’t Embiid get by a team that needs another star?

I would say that the East is underperforming. and so is the West this year.

so what you're saying is that your second best player should not be a center.

If Miami needs another star and had no problems getting through Embiid and the Sixers, what do the Sixers need? Don't they have two stars?

i like that Embitch is stating his condescending undertones on Adebayo lol - all this guy does is throw shade and do airplanes.

They have 3 max contract players and a young guy who plays like a star, yet that isn't enough?

cementing the idea that your best and second best player should never be a center.

Or maybe just maybe the problem is that your stars are true number 1s that can succeed in the playoffs. After how many years of never getting past the 2nd round do we start to look at the best player in a team?

Is he a front runner because he celebrates winning and doesn't celebrate losing? Seems like pretty normal behavior to me

What winning has he done exactly?

It's been 20 years (since 2001) since the Sixers even made a conference finals. Let's try to fix that before you start talking to your big brothers in Boston :D

Every time I stop by to check out the GB, I think I have seen the absolute stupidest post in the 20 years that I have been on RealGM.

This post has set the new low. Congrats! It wasn't easy to take the title, but you did it!

There is significant background out there about what happened with Jimmy in Philly. First, he found out very quickly that Brett Brown was a knucklehead. Second, the team - led by Brown - pushed to let Jimmy go, as they were concerned that Ben Simmons (who was unhappy that the ball was take out of his hands in the playoffs) would not re-sign his extension.

There is a ton of coverage on this. The Sixers chose Brown and Simmons - two guys who are gone - over Jimmy.

When ESPN does the "30 for 30" on "The Process", THAT decision - not Fultz, not picking Okafor when they already had Noel and Embiid, not maxing Harris - was the SINGLE BIGGEST mistake...and it is really not close.
