He might, but there's going to be a team with all the picks and swaps available to throw Brooklyn's way for him. Would be a dream come true though.

Yeah, I was speaking in general, as this the leaguewide thread. The Sixers don't have anything save Embiid to get Durant.

I feel like the Warriors are a paper tiger. That Celtics defense is no joke. They have zero weak links. I'd take the Celtics in 6.

That’s fair and I’ve probably underrated Boston all year but I think GS is better than people give them credit for. They are really deep and have a ton of lineup flexibility to pressure test their opponents with various combinations of length, shooting, and defense. A team built around Steph is a completely unique challenge for defenses.

I could totally see the Celtics beating them but Boston is pretty banged up after this Miami series and their half court offense is super inconsistent. I guess I’m just more confident that GS has the versatility and collective IQ to figure out their defense.

Personally I would be upset if he didn't at least give Morey a little more time to see out a complete roster to yield us a chance at a championship.

Giving up and ring chasing as an MVP candidate at 28 years of age is just nasty.

Zion cleared to play. Hopefully he can stay healthy for the sake of the league/fans.

The team that plays the most similar with ours on defense is the Mavs. I dont think there wont be a big dropoff on defense if you replace Embiid and Tobias with Powell and DFS.

Crazy stat looking at lineup data, Boston’s highest minute lineup in the playoff (Tatum/Brown/Smart/Horford/Grant Williams) has a -8.8 net rating. Switch Robert with Grant and that lineup has a -8.4 net rating. Yet they have the top net rating of all playoffs teams. Kind of a mind f*ck lol.

So.

The Sixers could really use this Jimmy Butler guy.

You guys beat me to it. This kept rattling around my head the entire 4th quarter.

Maybe the most unpredictable series game-by-game I’ve ever watched.

It really is unfathomable how bad the Sixers ****** up over and over again after Hinkie got blackballed.

It makes no sense to follow this team if you think about it too much.

Here's the other thing: How do you think Jo feels watching his guy carry a mediocre Heat roster to possibly two Finals in three years? It's gotta eat at him if he really wants to win titles and not just MVP's.

Jimmy carved that defense up.

Marcus Smart such a bad defender. Allowed Jimmy to score 47.

Jimmy was just trolling.

We chose Ben over Jimmy. Ben and Brett wont allow this much greenlight for Jimmy to operate.

There were so many posters here who actively vouched for keeping Tobias over Jimmy though. “Younger” and “better fit” they said. It’s almost like they didn’t watch Jimmy keep us in games down the stretch during the playoffs.

That being said, Jimmy’s gone. We need to focus on acquiring another player with that mentality. He’s in Utah for the taking.
