Which duo would you rather build a team around?

Don’t see any reason to go against the proven commodity.

Warriors duo easily. I don't find Payton/Barkley fit that good to be honest and they wouldn't be better defensively either.

Easily Curry and Draymond. They might not get a Durant level talent to create a perfect team or a wing defender such as Iggy, but these two’s impact numbers together over a course of 7-8 seasons can’t be ignored. I think there’s a 1% likelihood that Payton and Barkley are as successful (if that).

curry >barkley=>draymond>payton roughly

but curry and draymond compliment each other and barkley and payton would, if anythingh, mess up with each other space (i am assuming this is each duo in their own era)

Gary Payton Sr.?

If so, I'm going with them.

One of the reasons the Warriors lost in 2016 is because they don't have a dependable 2nd option. Without a 2nd option they need Curry to be 100%.

With Barkely and Payton you just need really good role players, and if either of them are banged up you have another player to lean on.

Curry still is the best individual player and individually has the easiest personality and play style to build around.

yeah, an all-offense monster in barkley vs an all-defense monster in draymond, is quite close although in most instances i would prefer barkley i think

i would say the same thingh if the comparision was barkley vs mutombo (barkley=> mutombo but quite close)

Draymond isn't on the same level, so gotta go with Barkley/Payton
