2017,2018 and 2019 are the best candidates

of those 3 i may pick 2019 over kobe 2009

I'd go with '15 and '17. '19 is a reasonable pick, but he wasn't doing a ton before KD went down. '22 could with a great finals, but a bit short for now.

i was actually precisely impressed by 2019 cause he was doing it without durant, finising off houston, destroying portland and giving a good series to that great raptors team

2017 and 2018 are somewhat hard to asses because of the overwhelming talent the warriors had

2015 was great but also saw similar offensive resiliency issues as would happen the next year finals

2015 and 2017 are comparable imo but I don't think either are clearly better than Kobe in 2009.

2017 was atypical from Curry's usual efficiency numbers in the Playoffs, and it is clearly a result of the fact that that was the only year that Durant was on the team and everyone was healthy all-Playoffs long. Obviously Curry himself was a big part of how unstoppable that team was, but the dropoff from the other years is clear.

On top of that, the 2009 Lakers faced the 10th, 4th, 8th and 1st ranked defenses.

The 2017 Warriors faced the 24th, 3rd, 1st and 21st ranked defenses.

On paper sure 2017 Curry looks more impressive than 2009 Kobe in the Playoffs but when you look at the collective circumstances I think Kobe should have the edge here.

I can't believe anyone mentioned 2018 and 2019. In 2018 Curry missed a round and a half. In 2019 he only showed up to feast on the weak Blazers' defense in the WCF after Durant got hurt. He gets a lot of credit for his Finals performance, which was fine, but the Raptors' defense was only -3.3 and Kobe has annihilated better defenses than that.

Yeah, because it was the only year when Durant was there that the whole team was healthy and clicking all Playoffs long, and they faced two really poor defenses.

I'd likely take 2017 Curry over 2009 Kobe run, even taking into account competition. 2015 and 2019 are reasonably close as well.

OBVIOUSLY zero. Another weak attempt to prop up Duncan. But let's talk about how many playoff runs of Curry are better than Tim-MID's, shall we? At least 7, maybe more.
