Are people forgetting how bad Donte was pre-trade? Unless he had some miracle turnaround in his form he wouldn't have seen any floor time.
Like the turnaround he had in Sacramento where he was basically just the Donte that was a good player for us? I'd make the argument that assuming a guy wouldn't improve on his first month back after not being able to walk normally for half a year is pretty easily the more improbable scenario.
What turnaround? He put up 10/4/3 on 36% shooting coming off the bench for a shithouse Kings team.
