The common trait between Golden State and Boston's sustained success?

Great front offices.

A couple misses here and there (Wiseman, Langford etc.), but by and large, these organizations have drafted great talents, hired great coaches, and made smart trades.

The Knicks are light-years behind those franchises, and it starts at the top, with Dolan and his FO hires.
