Wiggins wasnt considered "meh" coming out of college, that looked like a great trade for minnesota as well.

The way the Suns played last night in a game 7 at home was one of the more shocking things I've seen. Awful

Paul was clearly not right. Last few games. Booker just isn't the same stratosphere as Luka.

I'm glad the Hawks traded Luka for Trae.

We'd never have a shot at winning the division with Luka in ATL.

Adebayo has looked absolutely horrid the first 2 games vs the Celtics.

It sucks for the Hawks that Young is now eligible for the Rose rule max, which will pay him an additional $35 million over the 5 year deal that starts next season. They're guaranteed to make pretty major changes to their roster this offseason. Capela, Gallinari, Collins, Bogdanovic, and Huerter are likely all available. I think Capela and Collins will both likely be playing for different teams next season.

Maybe Kupchak can bail them out and send them Oubre/Plumlee's expiring contracts for Capela. I'd ask for our pick back though for taking on the extra salary.

If you were Magic, who would go with #1?

I want to believe in Chet, but his ankles look skinnier than my thumb. I just have an extremely hard time believing that that guy stays healthy.

I'd take Smith.

Chet needs to literally live in a gym. I actually think he'll be a SF/PF instead of a PF/C.

Chet a SF? Or are you talking about Jabari?

Chet. He is skilled enough I think and SF fits his build a lot better.

Have you watched him play much? or are you just going by his weight?

His best skill is a rim protector and although his handle is decent for a center, he isn't the type of guy you want breaking defenses down off the dribble.

Here is a link to Magic thread, that has some good shot charts. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2193963&start=620

IMHO, weight.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I actually thought the SF mold for Holmgren as well. I decided that once I saw him stand next to David Robinson on lottery night. Robinson, who is still in great shape, absolutely dwarfed the taller man in Chet. I don't see Chet having the base to be able to handle 5 spot defending and attacking. Also, I'm not sure he has the lateral quickness to guard the 3 but time will tell. Maybe he is a hybrid 3/4/5 which is a pretty good prospect IMO

Fitting that Miami ultimately loses becuase they took away a 3 pointer after they stepped on the line several minutes of gametime later

Would they have gone back if it was the Hornets instead of the Celtics? History says no

Big news out of Portland:

Read on Twitter

Seems likely the Blazers are likely to be sellers now rather than buyers. Nurkic might be attainable with an MLE offer.

Return to Charlotte Hornets
