warriors in 6.... curry gets his 4th ring and first FMVP.... giving the celtics a few wins out of respect for tatum and brown, very talented players but i just think gsw will be too much for them.

Yeah, may need to match Timelord's minutes to Looney's and keep him out when Curry is in. He couldn't guard Miami's scrub guards on that bum knee, so GS will work him.

Warriors have shooting and experience over Boston. But Celtics going through three straight ultra physical series against huge teams that foul every possession is going to make this easier on them from a physical POV.

Could see either team winning.

Celtics in 6 imo. They are just more talented. I think the only team that can beat the Celtics are themselves.

Warriors in 5 or 6 sadly.

They’re clearly the best team left and Boston just has too many issues. They take too many stupid shots (esp Tatum and Smart), they turn the ball over too much (esp Tatum and Brown), and they seem to love throwing games away at the end of 4th Quarters. Warriors don’t. That is huge.

They also just have no Finals experience whereas GS has tons, and they can’t match the warriors’ firepower. And, they have no big man to take advantage of GS’s lack of size. One good game from Horford ain’t gonna cut it.

And lastly…. MOVING SCREENS. Golden State sets a ton of em. Like every single possession. Officials don’t call it in today’s NBA. That alone will win them the series with their shooting.

Wiggs/Curry pnr hedge defense is really good. The mavs tried non stop against them, but couldnt do it. Steph hedged out fast and early, then wiggs just recovered. The mavs then just went after klay because it was much easier.

Curry is likely on smart, so that leaves one of brown or tatum vs klay without much switching needed.

Mavs had mixed results. In game 2 Curry was switched from guarding Bullock to DFS because Bullock was getting good looks from the hedge and recover.

I don't think you can pass on forcing Curry to expend some energy on defense. Can't let him hide on Smart and White the whole series.

Citing 538 is terrible.

Their picks lately have been horrific.

I love this series

Two best defensive teams but besides that nothing alike

Celtics have great iso scoring but less ball handling and playmaking
Warriors have a well oiled motion offense but less ISO scoring

Celtics are thick and strong
Warriors are thin and fast

Celtics have young stars and old role players
Warriors have old stars and young role players

Celtics defense is more of a swarming, suffocating one with lots of STOCKs
Warriors defense is more on close outs and rotations

I think the Celtics are a better team with more talent but think the Warriors experience gives them a slight edge. I'll go Warriors in 6.

They really aren't.

The Warriors have the most talented player in the series and probably depth overall.
