On the other hand, Boston matches up ridiculously well with GS. They have an absurd amount of elite and versatile defenders who can defend at the perimeter. And golden state isn’t as big and physical as Miami and Milwaukee. They don’t dominate the boards either. That’s going to, at the very least, prevent these games from being complete blowouts (at least, I hope it will).
Nonetheless, I have to go with the more experienced team here. Golden State in… idk, seven? Let’s go with seven.
Celtics have had guys miss plenty of games as well.
TimeLord hasn’t been healthy the whole playoffs and missed 7 of 17 games.
Smart missed a game in the Bucks series and 2 in the Heat series and was clearly hobbled.
Horford missed game 1 of the Heat series.
White missed a game of the Heat series.
Sure other teams have carried injuries as well but the Celtics have had their fair share and not used it as an excuse.
