As the credits roll on the series, a lot of people are dead, but at least four of the central characters are still alive. Is this a show you’d return to in some way? Could there be additional seasons or an “Ozark” movie?

Any job or work environment that was positive, and where you loved the people you were working with and you loved the product you were creating, you’d love to return to it. It’s hard to maintain something that is really pleasurable all the time. And we had that with “Ozark.” So I’d do it again in a second, because what we had just doesn’t happen often.

Top Gun just doing the thing, and doing it very well. Incredible action, and a surprisingly warm vibe to it. The aviation scenes are just otherworldly - you can feel the camera straining as the jets twist and turn, because well, it is.

Wouldn't be a Gilligan show if there weren't pretty much only bad guys hurting the (relatively) innocent.

I have alwyas thought, and this only solidifies it, that Kim isn’t getting a happy ending.

Spoiler:
Did they ever mention an "Ex" or "wife" in Breaking Bad? Maybe she gets out of Dodge via the vacuum repair guy before that all goes down. Saul certainly didn't seem like he'd suffered a ton of trauma in Breaking Bad but who knows.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

I'm figuring either she's dead or visited the vacuum guy. But it would be weird if she did that but Jimmy didn't. Although he did 2 years later.

the latest episode of Barry might be the best of the series.

Barry's a weird show in that it can be aggressively average for 90% of the time and then special as hell out of the blue.

Stranger Things news eps are honestly pretty good. But the one thing that is killing me is that each episode is like an hour and a half. Pacing is pretty good, but that's a long time to set aside, especially since there's 7 of them!

On the "way late to the party" list, Arcane is dope AF and even if you don't like LoL, you should give it a try if you like video games.

Police sure did a lot of questioning and arresting of kids without their parents present in the 80's.

This season seems a lot darker than the others. An interesting theme though -

Great to hear. This season has been a slog for me and I'm behind.

The last two episodes (not out yet) are like 2-2.5 hours each lol

Obi Wan was pretty meh with a couple easter eggs thrown in. Not sure how to feel about it yet, though I am waiting to see if we get any Obi-Vader action.

Generally, though, I've enjoyed much of the Star Wars content outside of the movies. Clone Wars and Rebels were really good. The Mandalorian was pretty great, as was Bad Batch. I'm watching Boba Fett right now with pretty minimal expectations (I couldn't give less of a **** about Boba Fett, tbh).

I am a bit more excited about the Ahsoka series that'll be coming next year, as it looks to answer what happened to Ezra Bridger at the end of Rebels.

I thought Obi Wan was pretty solid, with the exception of how annoying little Leigh is (the two chase scenes are cringeworthy, and Leigh is obnoxious and appears to be balding). I thought everything else was well done, my kids were engaged, and we are looking forward to the next installment.

Spoiler:
In the opening scene with Kim and her mom, they had Nebraska plates. Saul was relocated to Omaha. Lots of 'Omaha Beach' references in the episode. D-Day reference, yes, but also foreshadowing. Although, Saul's mansion had Viagra in the bathroom in the season's opening scene, so maybe she was with him the whole time somehow? Doesn't seem like a guy that would want anyone but Kim.

EDIT: Explanation for the Viagra is that Kim is in prison and Saul still gets conjugal visits with her.

Obi Wan

Spoiler:
You almost have to try to make a Obi Wan vrs Vader chase/fight scene suck but God damn Disney succeeded in just that.

Gotta love the consistency though.

I'm gonna burn you in this fire.... Nope never mind. Don't want to any more. I'm gonna put this fire in between us out with the force so we can grab you. Wait what someone else reignited the fire in between us. How on earth could I put this fire out? He's getting away. If only someone could get rid of this fire.

Plot holes are a thing and sure i get that sometumes the plot demands things that dont make sense but I don't even think 30 seconds past in between that. Like who is writing this show?

And FYI kid Leia might be one of the worst written characters I've seen in a very long time.
