Re: Brooklyn - Orlando
I'd do this as the Magic, rehab Harris, and then flip him at the deadline for more draft capital.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

After watching Magic games for extended time last year, it was evident they needed reliable 3pt shooter who can dribble for easy basket.
I know Isaac has much higher upside but, they also drafted Wagner who has promising upside. Future 1st rounder should be fair compensation as well. That pick can easily end up in a lottery.

you're missing the fact that isaac has been constantly plague with major injuries ever since his rookie year. A pure swap should be fair but the nets adding a first doesn't make sense for them

IRL, I don't get to say yes for the Magic, but this is me saying yes for the Magic. Look at what LeVert, White, and T. Young went for at the deadline. Let him heal up, get him out there, and then trade him.

Exactly the reason I'd love to make a trade now. Is it a gamble, sure. It's just if he manages to stay healthy from here on now, return will be much higher. He was straight up monster before seasons ending injury.

There is a lot to like about the framework of this. A lot would depend on the Magic's plans for starting SG next season.
One reality is that Orlando would have a bench player with the #1 pick without trading Isaac. So Orlando might be in get-best-trade mode with Isaac.

There has been a ton of Isaac offers on these boards that are better than a pick where we become villains because we are hoping for an Embiid injury for an otherwise meh pick.

Yes: let me clarify. Orlando might auction Isaac. Here: WeHamm calls the other 29 teams and says, make an offer. The best offer is accepted.
