I doubt he has that where it's just money by next year.....but the fact he's showing those flashes & ability to even do that at all and we haven't hit Year 2, when you see him literally being able to make those kinds of moves of a kid who's going to be that size. Scottie is gonna be physically imposing and able to push dudes around, if he's that big and can make some of those shots...yeah it will be a wrap. BUT I'm sure a lot of it will come down to shooting consistency and repetition but his potential really is special.

It's not just hyperbole but his potential is sky high, if he puts all that scoring ability and tank body like that PLUS he has crazy court vision, Scottie at his peak could legitimately be a top 5-7 player in the league at some point in his career and some of the other names start retiring as he's ascending -- over the next 5-6 years as Scottie is just coming into his own, Bron, KD, Steph, Kawhi...will Embiid even still be going?! That's half the list, I could see it and I'm not sure just how high he can go depending on how far he can take it but this is what's he's doing in his FIRST summer, imagine 4, 5+ years from now, he's gonna be on a COMPLETELY different level!

Nah, what I mean is that practicing in a gym in 1-1 with no pressure does not necessarily translate to being able to do it in a game. Not saying that Scottie can't do it - he can - but people are prepared to anoint him as MVP based on a few videos of him playing at half speed in a practice gym. It's different.

I get that we gotta be realistic with our expectations going in year 2 but just the improvement he showed in his rookie year alone, it's hard not to get excited. And yes, people calling him future MVP should tone it down a little bit but don't you ever compare Scottie to Ben Simmons ever again :lol:

When he did them step backs vs the Nets and the Lakers in the season it was nothing but splash. Maybe all his shots should be like this??? I think so.. half court step backs! Cash! Form looks good lol
