So wait, you AREN’T trying to argue that Curry is better to build around? Then what exactly is your argument here? Because you literally just got done saying that Curry is better based on how it took less time for Curry to win a title than LeBron. So explain what exactly your point is here, because now you just went from making asinine statements to not making any sense.
Curry is better to build around but not exactly easier to build around for optimal results.
Okay, now again, I ask: what are you basing this on? LeBron is a better playmaker, a better defender literally capable of turning a team into a top ten, sometimes even top 5, in his prime almost entirely on his own. And he was an elite scorer on top of that. He can play multiple positions. And has won championships with three completely different teams, all as the best player. I see no argument for Curry being better to build around other than he’s a better teammate, which is a valid point, but not when the talent gap is as wide as it is.

Curry is a better playmaker. He initiates many plays simply by moving and drawing defensive attention away from the ball. This is not picked up by conventional stats. Curry is a more efficient scorer. Curry covers the court better with his movement. All this combined makes Curry a more chaotic presence which causes breakdowns in opponent's scheme and focus. Curry has been on more top defensive teams than LeBron has. Curry has shown he's capable of turning teams around without trading for another superstar mortgaging a team's future.

The fact that you’re trying to argue that Curry is a better playmaker than LeBron gives me more reasons to not take you seriously. Lebron’s biggest weakness in that regard is always going to be his off ball play. But he’s one of the all time greats at spotting an opening in the defense. He’s one of the best passers of this generation. He knows what play to make most of the time. And no matter how limited you might be, he will find a way to get you involved in the offense and set you up with scoring opportunities. Curry is an underrated playmaker, but he’s not even the best one on his own team. LeBron is top 15, if not top 10 all time in that regard. It’s not even close.
Curry has been on more elite defensive schemes? What does that even mean? Is that your half assed attempt at trying to argue that Curry is better at that end? He’s not a better defender than LeBron. Just stop.
Yes, Curry hasn’t done the lol worthy stuff LeBron has done to franchises. Guess what? LeBron wasn’t handed Kevin Durant on a silver platter after losing in the finals. If only LeBron and many others in NBA history were able to receive a Durant type of player for losing in the finals. Either way, none of this disproves my original point.
So far none of your points have held up well at all. You’re gonna have to do a lot better than this.

Personally it'll take a number more top 5 seasons for me. I'm not sure how many.

You don't have to take me seriously if you don't want to. But we're having this conversation because Curry is in the finals once again and the vast majority of people here arguing with me probably didn't see that coming while I did. If you want to remain in the dark that's your choice.

Indeed, and I suppose that's why everyone agrees Kareem is the GOAT and they laugh off the notion that Jordan would be in the conversation.
