Masai is doing what Masai does lol He's a shark and he smells blood.
Sure OG is available but if you want him you will have to pay.
He loves to leverage teams. By him shutting the door saying FLAT OUT NO, it doesn't serve him anything.
You never know if POR would get desperate on draft night and offer a FAT PACKAGE with multiple picks, etc

Raptors fans always mad at Fischer. Of course OG would be available he is just a role player and you eventually have to trade one of your starters since the starting line up is just plain weird.. If the right deal comes along you take it! If you can get one of picks 4, 6,7 and 8 and the guy you like is there you do it in a flash.

Re: [Jake Fisher] The word surrounding OG Anunoby’s trade candidacy
I am having a weird feeling that Rudy Gobert is going to be traded for OG....Idk why but i just feel thats the move Masai wants...I think Masai is thinking about the defense a frontcourt of Barnes/Siakam/Gobert will look like...
I personally do not want Gobert and if we did make a deal with OG i would much rather grab a top pick in this draft along with bench depth but i just have a feeling Gobert is Masais target this offseason.

I don't think OG will be enough if you're competing against the likes of goldenstate with their riches of talent for Gobert. Defense would be amazing with Gobert but offense would be just weird. Going for one of those top 10 picks seems more realistic and we already know there's interest in Dyson Daniels and Bennedict

Re: [Jake Fisher] The word surrounding OG Anunoby’s trade candidacy
Our fan base gets so defensive about rumors or people breaking stories and attack that persons credibility or his sources or w/e .....Alot of these reporters speak to people that are alot more closer to situations then we are on RealGm or people on twitter are....
They might have access to conversations around the front offices we as fans are unaware of....Does it mean every report is 100 percent fact no....But where there is smoke there is fire.....I remember countless times Raps fans attacking reporters over things that at the end of the day became facts...
Hell Raps fans even attacked Woj for saying Kawhi was headed for the Clippers months before it happened lol....When WOJ has legit sources behind the scenes not many people have....
So everyone needs to relax about this Jake guy....Hes prolly a good reporter and is getting his news from somewhere even if its not all the truth there is prolly some truth in it...
If OG goes i just hope Masai doesn't live to regret it in a few years.

What riches of talent does Golden State have to offer? I think Poole is a free agent, Wiggins is a nice complimentary player but he's making like 35 million dollars and their young guys haven't really shown enough to be key pieces in a deal involving a player like Gobert.

Just the comments to that tweet alone are pathetic.
For the right price any player is available. OG is not a superstar or even an all-star. Obviously he is available for the right trade.

I have this same feeling. I really don't want Gobert. It's not like we are 1 piece away from contending.

Moses Moody, Kuminga and Wiseman.
Obviously it's harder for them to play on a finals team loaded with talent but we all know they got a lot potential and are on rookie deals unlike just OG.

Does this do anything to our situation or nah?
If we dont trade Trent this off-season then we likely are retaining him
One thing about GTj is nobody ever thinks about him getting better. maybe it is because he sort of seems like a finished product already in the way he plays. He just looks like an older guy. But he is only 22! he could and almost certainly will improve, and maybe by quite a bit in the coming years. Who really knows what his ceiling is? It could be very high.
I am a fan of Gary. If he were drafted at 22 and was a rookie this past season with the numbers he put up...we would be praising him as a star in the making with a bright future.
The situation with the team as currently constructed is that one or two of the current starters needs to go in order for the others to get their opportunities. This is currently a very top heavy roster.

Your last sentence is the key. It means you can make a story about anything. Inquiries happen all the time, every time the person answering doesn't immediately "shut down" the conversation, you can literally make a story out of it.
In other words, there's nothing here to distinguish OG's situation from ANYBODY else in the league. There's zero confirmation that he's unhappy, or anything that would make THIS scenario more likely than others.

god i hate this text.
He's a rumor mongering school girl looking for attention thats it.
As if we dont know letting someone talk and listening isnt valuable. Thats all masai is doing.
Maybe og is available, maybe he isnt, but by listening masai knows whats out there.
Fischer knows this, he just doesnt have anything else to scream into the internet for attention.

Fischer is just a troll converting random rumours into click bait to boost his wallet. Internet age scamming.
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

Raps fans are nutty about this Jake guy, lol. Like why are they so offended when someone says they heard something about the raps? Or Its like Jakes access to info attacks their manhood or somthing, lol.
I remember listening to Jake on a Raps Twitter Space... rap fans were just pestering the guy, and he was constantly defending himself in a 'hey guys, I have no horse in this race.. I;m just telling you what I heard, and I heard that the Raps really really like Scottie Barnes at 4'. When he was off the space, he was laughed at... well, rest is history.
Slightly OT - but another tidbit I got from Jake at that time which seems to be under reported, especially now given his 6MOY status, was that Masai could have had Herro in the Lowry deal, but Masai chose Precious. Jakes exact line, which made me laugh at the time "Masai was offered Herro instead of Precious, and replied, "no, you are not my Hero" '. lol.

OG is MJ to Raptors fans.
I do wonder though what type of offer we would accept.

Fischer gets all the credit for breaking the barnes thing but im pretty sure chad ford kept talking about the raptors liking barnes at 4 too. Ford wasn't on twitter spaces every night though so people dont remember it as much as fischer
