Don't overreact to game 1 both teams had their runs

As well as the dubs played in the first q the Celtics responded to lead at the half

The Warriors had a big 3rd Q and the Celtics responded in the 4th.

I wouldn't say one team dominated the other and this still feels like a 7 game series

I never felt surprised by an NBA player making wide open 3pt shots
(unless it's Giannis)

Warriors have blown many big leads in 4th this season.

Are they juicing Al Horford? Gotta test him for that game!

Actually hitting his typical barely off the ground 3's = juiced?

9/12 from field in not a typical Al performance. The man couldn’t miss in the 4th. He played great tonight!

Yeah, they both have in fact won a title. One got carried to one and the other joined the best team so he could be guaranteed two of them.

And they do have something that they don’t. Wanna know what that is? Am upcoming game, because unlike Irving and Durant, they were able to get the job done and advance to the next round.

I’d be more worried about your ruined reputation on this site if I were you.

Both are Champions no matter what idiotic excuses you make for them getting there. That can never be taken from them no matter how upset it makes you

Pretending they can't be part of winning teams is literally false.

And doesn't matter if Celtics win this year or not. Cause Celtics were sitting at home when they both won titles.

imagine your team being so irrelevant that you have to brag about your players past success on different teams

Every post is salty from this guy because these Celtics swept KD and Kyrie right out of the playoffs.

Tatum sucked but it's less about what he did do and more about what he didn't do. When you're a top 5 MVP candidate and your team's primary option scoring 27ppg, you're going to draw most of the offensive attention. It's easy to just keep jacking up shots, but he shot a few shots less than he normally does and opted to take advantage of the offensive attention he gets to be a facilitator. Just simple stuff like being in the paint and kicking it out to an open horford for a jumper.

Also, Brown scored 24 pts on 23 shots...he is usually more efficient and likely will be.

Jordan Poole was practically invisible, he's put up like 18ppg on near 50/40/90 these playoffs. Him and Klay have to be better for the warriors to have a shot at winning this series, because Tatum and Brown certainly will be.

If I'm the Warriors I'm not concerned unless I go down 0-2.

Then all the Cs have to do is win 2/3 at home. That's a tough ask to stop.

Crazy **** game. One of the craziest I can remember. It was a game of the "others" for Boston all being on fire while the top 2 guys had inefficient games. As always the main adjustments will happen by game 2 and tell the real trends for the series.

But man what an amazing outlier of a game. If the Cs win it'll be remembered as a legendary performance. Biggest point differential in the 4th ever with Tatum shooting like **** and Brown doing his thing albeit under 50% shooting.

That 4th quarter reminded me of game 4 in Milwaukee. Down 14-15 but got it to a manageable # to end the quarter. The first 2-3 mins of the 4th they did a good job of setting the tone which snowballed after thst

Miami made the right adjustments after game 2 when we hit 20. They stayed home on our shooters after that. The Warriors don’t have the individual defenders to do that though.

This time it wasn't even the Celtics shooters though.

Derrick White and Horford are not supposed to be knockdown 3 point shooters.

I think thats why the Warriors got caught off guard. Their game plan was probably to let those guys shoot.

Horford has been shooting t above 40% for a long time.

White’s a better shooter than he has shown. Celtics feel he is a much better shooter than his numbers, which is why they traded for him.

Horford was shooting 43% from 3 for the playoffs before tonight. He’ll go north of 45% after today.

White has been on hot streak since Hendrix was born.

If that’s the Warriors strategy, I have faith our guys can shoot open 3’s at a decent clip to win 3 more games.

Haven’t seen anybody post JTs actual fg percentage tonight on his 17 shots.
1/8 in the 2nd half but still did a good job getting people good looks for some important makes.

Al's shooting form is like a dad trying to win a stuffed animal for his kid at the carnival basketball game

Not salty at all.

Yes I usually root against Boston because I'm a NJ Guy. But I have no dislike of any of the players on this team.

Would be happy for them if they won.

Crazy ass game was but I'm not super shocked that the Warriors got punched in the gut, they had long rest, they went up 3-0 in the WCF. Plus they just act like frontrunners, they can win dirty but man do they love to win clean.

They'll be locked in for g2, whatever happens

Only idiots think experience matters it’s still the same game the intensity doesn’t go up from any other playoff round. If you made it that far the nerves have been gone

One thing we haven't mentioned is GP2 hasn't come back yet and he will be huge against Boston. His defense and hands against Jaylen Brown's shaky handles? That's enough to change a game.
