Still not enough time in between for us to debate whether Steph is a choker or not.

So the swelling in RWII's leg can go down and he can play well.

Can anyone give a rundown why GSW only scored 16 points in the 4th quarter?

Came here to trash the warriors but clearly I’m an entire thread too late. Everyone just piling on I know it’s game 1 and the winner is gonna sweep the loser and take over the world but this is intense.

Wasn’t there a thread about the Celtics being the villain? Getting a touch out of hand lol.

Celtics stopped employing drop coverage and went to full switching defense. Outside of Steph nobody else can create on this team. Poole sometimes can, but only against teams that don't have rim protectors. Since the Celtics have Timelord, Poole ends up being a net negative when he's on the floor.

It's worth noting this has been true the entire playoffs for the Warriors, the only reason they've gotten away with it is because they've been dominating the boards. Well they didn't have their usual 10-15 rebound advantage this game, the Celtics tied it on the boards. Thus, the Warriors lose. It's just math.

Anyone notice how quick the Curry finals record without Durant thread got locked. Mods won’t allow negative threads about Curry. When Durant and Nets got swept there were multiple troll threads on here about KD, not one of them was locked.

What a pointless statement.Every Finals team had elite role players[/quote]

1. Poole 25min 4 tov -19 and the worst defender on the floor…ouch
2. Green 2-12 fg 0-3 ft 3 tov and Al **** on him whole game
3. Kerr - not a momentum coach, it’s hard to do adjustments on the way.

Thanks for the quick analysis. I will be watching a reply of the 1st and 4th quarter. In regards to the rebounds, I'm not surprised. There is a lot of luck involved in getting offensive rebounds so not surprised is falling back to baseline.

1. Poole is too soft, hurts them defensively. Besides the 1st series against the Nuggets he’s struggled.
2. Green gave Al way too much room, have to know the strengths of the players you’re guarding.
3. Kerr gave Boston momentum by waiting too long to put his starters back in, got out-coached.

People always overreact to 1 game. This series is going 6 or 7. I expect a comfortable win for GS next game. They have championship DNA and will not go quietly. If Boston wants this, they’re going to have to really earn it.

I'm being generous and going with Celtics in 5 now. Might be a sweep though.
