Even though it's a very small sample size, it seems like they had pretty good cohesion. To me, Dyson appears to be someone who could potentially make Cade a better player. They could compliment each other very well.

100% just get him some talent to play with. Another thing with Cade is hes such a good leader and mature beyond his years. Hes going to rub off well on whoever we draft. Hes going to get Ivey or Sharpe busting ass to improve
Agreed. I mean talent is great, don't get me wrong, but without the right mentality, it next to worthless.Kalamazoo317 wrote:buzzkilloton wrote:Kalamazoo317 wrote:Part of the brilliance of Cade is that he can function at a high level with about any type of player.

I look at a young team like Memphis and given the great start with guys like Cade, it makes me want to find those culture fits -- hard working, team-first type guys. It's a big part of why I gravitate towards Murray and Mathurin.

Kalamazoo317 wrote:Fwiw part of the reason I'm into Mathurin is I also think he's a better player than Ivey, and the advanced stats seem to support that from what I've read. And I really don't trust Sharpe's defense, shooting, or ability to consistently utilize his physical gifts.

Not saying hes my guy if we get the pick just I like him. I'd rather have Eason,Jalen Williams, maybe even Walker Kessler. Sochan,Mark Williams, or or Agbaji would be other guys who could fall around there that I like. We need a 2nd first!

Thats funny cause i watched that last night while getting lost in YouTube. The potential is definitely there with that kid. His movements and the way he shoots is like a less explosive Edwards prospect.
I really like what i see and would have no problem trying to move up early 2nd or late 1st to take the gamble.
People should take the time to watch that scouting video though as its nicely done with some good points regarding his shooting numbers to close out the year.
