Totally disagree. On what basis would you say that?

He got drafted into the best team in the league and his playstyle was based purely on feeding great offensive players like Worthy or Kareem and transition points. It is a player that would have aged like milk and would have a mediocre career if he got drafted to a different team or a different era. Bird was at least 2 tiers above him.

Bird would disagree with you and I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that he is much more qualified than you are to opine on Magic’s talent.

It's not hate, but when you put him up there with the greatest players of all-time, you have to critique him like he's one.

After the first, where was he for 3 quarters?

How many all-time greats get a pass for playing bad for the last 3 quarters?

How many all-time greats get a pass for your team losing the 4th quarter 40-16?

So he's either not up there and shouldn't be critiqued harshly or he is and gets critiqued appropriately.

You really can't have it both ways.

Quite literally the first time I've ever heard anyone, anywhere say that Magic Johnson rode James Worthy's coattails, so thanks for that.

This.
He just doesn't know how to get the easy basket to stop opposing team's momentum. He just plays the game the same way whether it's the first or fourth quarter.

That is pretty much his only weakness though

Just before logging in, my guess on today's threads were:
1) Curry got exposed
2) Does Horford move up a tier?
3) If Derrick White wins a Finals MVP, what does it do to KD's legacy?
4) Something something Lakers

Schadenfreude is undefeated.

In the Raptors series Klay was also gone and the 2019 Warriors bench was the weakest bench they have ever had in the finals.
The current Warriors team beats the 2019 Raptors.

Klay got injured with 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter of game 6. He missed one quarter after tearing his ACL. It's revisionist history that some people think the Raptors beat a Klay-less Warriors team.

It's easy to get all those assists when you have great shooters around you!

Nonsense is bringing up Jeremy Lin when he wasnt mentioned at all, exactly why else would he bring that up?

You know that Klay got injured in G2 and missed the end of G2 and the whole G3, right?

After the Big 3, the Warriors players with most minutes:

Andre - awful offensively, almost out of the league since then
Cousins - almost out of the league since then
Looney - awful offensively
Livingston - out of the league since then
Quin Cook - out of the league since then
Afonso McKinie - out of the league since then
Bogut - out of the league since then
Jerebko - out of the league since then

And people asked Curry to win with half series Klay and the rest of the team who could not hit a shot if it was not a layup... Meanwhile Raptors were playing box and 1, double and triple team him all game long and Curry still managed to average 30 on 60%TS.

This is immaterial to my point. Don't play the race card for no reason; it cheapens attention paid to the issue on earnest, and is not positive thread contribution.

And him thinking injuries here and there throughout series aren't a common occurrence

Literally just saw Smart, Williams, Horford, White, Lowry, even Butler, miss (pivotal) games. Sh*t happens.
