Simons who? The guy who literally put up a few good games when there was nobody available to play? What was it 3 or 4 games? OG ain't going nowhere. He was drafted in Toronto, always a starter and one of the core players for the future. Nice try. Move along people. Nothing to see here.

OG is 24yo and averaged 17/5/3 in 48 games. He avearged 36 MPG.
Simons is 22yo and averaged 17/3/4 in 57 games... with better efficiency. He averaged 29MPG. (PER36 that's 21/3/5)

You may not know Simons name yet, but you will. :D

Yep. We will remember Simons. He scored great with a team who had no other player to score. He's a trade bait. They sat out Dame, traded CJ and randomly picked a young kid to just score. He was barely making any contribution before all of that. Trade bait.

His PER36 minutes are similar through his career. He's a 6-3 guard coming off the bench behind two high quality, heavy minute 6-3 guards. His opportunities with POR have been limited for sure.

To be clear, your argument that you don't know who Simons is doesn't make you sound smarter. I promise you that Masai knows exactly who Simons is.

And honestly, I would rather see POR trade Lillard and keep Simons. They can't keep both and they seem determined to try another rebuild with Dame. Foolishness! Simons is 22 with 211 NBA games under his belt. Dame was a rookie at 22. Simons will have a long NBA career, despite the fact that you have no idea who he is... yet.

Do you know what the word "ignorance" means? It is not an insult. You are literally claiming to be ignorant of who Simons is. You also seem to be ignorant of what ignorant means. Once again, not an insult. I was using the word the as defined in Merriam Webster's dictionary. But if "Simons who" is your only argument then you clearly don't have much to add to a basketball discussion.

I think Simons + 7 is fair value for OG. Not so sure either team does it though.

Maybe if you knew Merriam Webster your only argument wouldn't be "I don't know." Something to think about.
