If we played better at home I would agree.. But damn it would be good if we go up 2-0

JT gonna score 81 pts tomorrow, isn't he??

I'm sorry, but Tatum is kinda corny. He's a good kid and a superstar, but this is kinda corny.

I think what's cornier is how the media keeps focusing on this thing. Nothing wrong with a player idolizing an NBA great (even though his love for Kobe does make me cringe lol), it's that the media just keeps shedding light on it that it's becoming a little annoying.

It's the same with reporting about Jaylen before. Media never failed to shoehorn his love for chess whenever they can, just to illustrate his intelligence

Tatum doesn't have the fire and too soft to be compare to Kobe. Tatum can get there if he toughen up and smells blood every game.

Yeah true Tatum wakes up every game day and says, "You know what? I know this is the playoffs, but I wouldn't mind losing today. It's no big deal really. I'm not going to try too hard tonight because I just don't have that Kobe fire."

I'm obviously thrilled they won the first game and at the very least they're splitting with Golden State. But like you said, I'm not comfortable because of the way this team plays at home.

Can't pretend to know what is going to happen. Celtics don't make much sense. Better on the road. Have played bad after wins a bunch of times. Goes without saying 2-0 would be great since they have no home court advantage thus far when it comes to wins.

I was super confident we'd take game 1 for whatever reason. For this game, I still think we'll win but I'm only 98.78% sure. The 1.22% has me worried.

Sure,absolutely.

But it's a damn Laker. What part of that don't you understand?

You're either one of us or you're one of them......

Old enough to remember when Celtics fans could prod and needle over what USED to be a rival.

Guess that’s all dead and gone? Sheesh……

This would be such an incredible win tonight. Going into the series I couldn't honestly expect a Celtics sweep, so it follows that GSW will win Game 2. But man, we have such a great opportunity to go up 2-0 heading back to Boston. LET'S GET IT DONE! GO C'S!!!

Love this playoffs continuing to squash realgm narratives that Jaylen can't be a #2 on a championship contending team.

Know some heads gonna explode if we win the chip and Jaylen is the MVP. :o

I honestly believe there is a very small handful here that would rather see us lose than for that to happen

I will be coming to Game 3 with my 13 year old son from south Florida. Just got tickets and I’m surprising him Tuesday night with our flight. I have a question and I apologize if this is them wrong thread. It’ll be our first game at TD, but when I go watch the C’s play the Heat, they have a thing called benchwarmers where you can show up a few hours early and they let you sit court side and watch warmups/shoot around. Do they have anything like that for the Celtics games??

Jayson Tatum is the only member of the Celtics or Warriors in the Top 10 for PPG (26.2) and APG (6.3) this postseason.

Al Horford has been a two-way BEAST in these playoffs:

- 1st in shots contested
- 1st in FG% allowed
- 2nd in 3P% allowed
- 2nd most efficient 4Q scorer
- Only player shooting 50% FG/45% 3PT
