I think what's cornier is how the media keeps focusing on this thing. Nothing wrong with a player idolizing an NBA great (even though his love for Kobe does make me cringe lol), it's that the media just keeps shedding light on it that it's becoming a little annoying.

Tatum doesn't have the fire and too soft to be compare to Kobe. Tatum can get there if he toughen up and smells blood every game.
