If we recognize that there's no team with two top 10 players in the NBA, then at the stage we're at (Finals), we've got three options:

Team 1 and Team 2 both have an All-NBA player
Team 1 has all NBA, Team 2 has no all NBA player <-- We are here
Both teams have 0 all NBA players

Not every Finals series will have two All NBA first team players.

Why does the All-NBA First Team Award need to predict playoff success though? It is an individual award, to celebrate the individual's ability in each individual position... while playoff success is a team game.

I should have clarified in my post, was responding to his post about "First team", I should have written "All NBA first team player" instead of "All NBA player". Thanks for pointing out, will edit.
