THE HAUS
One day Leon Powe and I were cracking up on Eddie House’s tattoo.…[Garnett] was like, ‘C’mon, Scal, it’s time to rock! What the ‘F’ are you doing?’ And I was like, ‘You know what? You’re right. It is time to rock.’ – Brian Scalabrine

Al has been one of the best players ALL playoffs, he was a large reason we won game 1 but suddenly he's scared?

GS are basically guarding him at the 3 now so we need to adjust.

Sure Al will want to be better and he hasn't had his best game, but every Celtic needs to be better

You think this team is having another 40 burger in a quarter? Again this team needs to stop being so damn lazy especially in the 3rd quarter! How do you let a team just steamrolled you like that twice already. Can they pulled the trifecta in game 3?

Blah balh blah, this is the 4th series you have said we suck.

STFU they have pulled this crap time and time again. This ain’t miami .

And yet, here we are in the finals because they also flip it and fight.

True but then how can you not have faith in them winning another road game?

Boston’s offense has been horrid here. Smart has been terrible .

Yes but think about the fourth quarter they had? They need a miraculous quarter to win the ball game. They better take care of business at home and stop being so lazy.

Looney alone has been better than all of our bigs combined

Celtics got to win these next 2 at home. I don’t see a repeat of game 1 happening on the road imo. This is the series where the Celtics have to be at their best at home to win the series. Can’t lose 2 times at home like they did against the bucks and heat.

What an absolute ass beating
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Back to Boston then. Better not be half asleep for these two home games like has been the case for most the playoffs.

Refs kept GS in this early with a lot of BS calls---knocked a RED HOT Jaylen out of the game with his 2nd foul--which he didn't even touch Payton...then Smart kept giving the ball away---swear he bet in this game.

he wasn't the only poor in this hot mess sandwich but he didn't help it. he has the worst +/- by 14 (not counting white out there now). I know it's said it's not a good indicator with one game but when your +/- is -36? Plus it was used to show he had a good game 1.

Yeah that’s why I made sure not to say he played well or anything lol. Was strictly about the points/shots difference, was staggering.

People will call this team soft and all that, but tonight was just mostly crap across the board. Not being soft, just poor play.

if this team is soft, what are the other 28 teams (they prob dont mean gsw)?

Example 1 of what I expect to be many.

Setshot33 wrote:Al Horford and Jayson Tatum have no balls, period.

Getting punked by smaller players proves it.

Next time Tatum ever drives, it'd be nice to see him not compromise the defense by arguing with the refs.

Be nice to see Horford not be scared to go against Green.

This is an embarrassing post.

Al in the paint, scared to death by players smaller than him, blowing what should be easy shots for him as 6'10 vs 6'6.

Dude cannot play with his back to the basket but to be fair, most modern NBA players are clueless with their back to the basket.

Again that lazy attitude won’t beat a team like golden state. They have gotten punked twice back to back in the 3rd quarter. Gotta toughen up.

We presumably adjust to the Curry PnR for game 3 and see where that gets us.

That's why I'm hoping we can at least split them. Would love to be shocked and win both but I'm a realist. :D
