What the **** does Draymond need to do to get finally thrown out of a game?

I'm watching a replay of the 1st half and how this guy is protected by the refs is beyond me. Running into Derrick White(?) In the first quarter for a defensive foul instead of an offensive foul, kneeing Smart in the head while on the floor, somehow getting away by placing his legs on Brown's head and having the nerve to keep screaming at the refs, while he already has one technical foul.

What the hell, it's so obvious the refs wanna keep this series competitive. The tone of officiating was obvious when the refs called that phantom foul on GPII to give Brown two fouls in the first quarter while he was red-hot..honestly don't know what is a bigger joke, NFL or NBA officials.

It's honestly making following this sport a joke and cringe worthy. You see others get thrown out for barely anything. Screw the NBA for that nonsense tbh

He’s definitely reffed differently. I’m not sure if there is a player that gets the leeway he does.

He must do a great job of smoothing it over with refs after screaming in their faces.

I'm fine with the refs not having such a short fuse on fouls and techs, but that luxury needs to be afforded to everybody. Draymond definitely gets away with much more than your average NBA player. He's screaming in a ref's face 5 times per game. Some players simply raise their hands in disbelief and get whistled for a tech.

First half last night was really bad. Both teams came out playing really well and it was awesome to watch. All playoffs long people have complained about quality of play and we were finally getting some awesome basketball. Then Draymond started playing like they gave the 44 year old “enforcer” from the local YMCA a chance to play in the NBA and he ruined it. Single handedly turned high level basketball into a game I would have turned off if my team wasn’t in it.

Agreed. Draymond gets absolutely baby'd by the refs. There's not another player in the league who gets the amount of preferential treatment that he does.

I'm not a Boston fan either - it's been happening for years though and is super frustrating from a neutral fan perspective. The better team won tonight, but the refs were trying their hardest to help GSW in the first half. It makes me a very disgruntled sports fan.

You can hear it in the Celts post-game that Draymond's antics got in their head.

Draymond only just turned 32 like a month ago. You'll see it for at least 3 more seasons and Draymond will likely win multiple rings in that time.

This is part of what he brings to the GS team. Some edges. And every great team has had that.

It's a shame. I remember when the "edge" guy on a team used to be someone who manned tf up and would give you a hard foul in the lane. Now it's gotta be someone like Draymond who gets a first tech the acts weaselly the rest of the game to try and get under people's skin since he knows they won't toss him. Very sad state of the league. I'd rather there be an actual edge guy vs just someone who acts like a b****

Stopped watching before half time. Couldnt believe the cheap shots he was getting away with and was disgusted.
Expect refs to give him leeway when GS needs a win and tighten up on him when Boston needs a win. Let's not be naive here. The part that pisses me is that he feels like he has the right to behave like a punk on the court in the first place.

Green is a flog but the altercation with Brown was not his fault.

Brown flopped for the foul and Green ended up on top of him because of it and then aggressively shoved his legs away despite Brown's flope being the reason they were on the ground in the first place.

This. Brown shot the ball and just instinctively just fell down for the flop to get the foul call. He stays his ground and Draymond doesn't fall on him.

The deliberate falling after shooting a 3 has got to stop.

Honestly if you are rooting for the celtics you shouldn't want draymond to get kicked out. The warriors offense is harder to guard when he is out the game
