It is kinda funny that Kyrie left Boston and KD left GS to pair up together in Brooklyn and now Boston and GS are in the finals.

Heat was missing Herro who is their leading scorer.... Heat ultimately lost because they lacked scoring punch.

Bucks lost to Celtics.... also ultimately due to Khris Middleton missing.

My point(s) are..
- Jimmy Butler is not All Talk... he is a dog and one Suns could use.
- Celtics are getting by with EVEN MORE LUCK than the Suns last year and NO COMPLAINTS or little coverage on how lucky they are... Suns got hammered by fans all alike... but Celtics are apparently different.

Lol, no. Saying all of this while completely ignoring the injuries/health problems the celtics faced these playoffs is beyond disingenuous. They had guys in and out of the lineup all playoffs. Key guys... Rob, Smart, even horford missed game 1 of the heat series... and some guys are still playing through injuries that are clearly bothering them. The C's are dinged up just like everyone else.

Celtics are the better balanced team, warriors play guys big minutes that can't really score in green and Loney... don't know you can allow the celts to only have to defend 3 people on the floor. Warriors gonna have to adjust lineups imo.

Had Celtics winning it all but now I think it might be in 5. Didn't have that.

It doesn't really matter. Luck and injuries are a part of the equation. Suns never have enough to get over the hump. Best of luck in the finals.

What a 4th quarter from the Celtics. Horford and White shot the hell out of the ball tonight, it will be interesting to see how they continue through the series. I wouldn't expect Tatum to shoot so poorly again either though. Being able to play Horford as a stretch 5 is a big advantage for them, especially when he shoots like tonight.

Draymond was still relatively effective, but the Celtics seemed to welcome him and Looney getting the ball, especially on the perimeter.

Boston is like what would happen if the Clippers were healthy. Two two-way wings who get their own shots surrounded by solid defenders and shooters. That extra shot creator is just so valuable and really makes things difficult for the defense. We'll see how the Warriors respond.

Might just be me, but don’t feel like Tatum has played that well in these playoffs. Been hearing how he’s looked great but every game I’ve watched, he’s missing just about every shot. Horford has been great for the Celtics. I would love to see the Warriors lose.

the thing is when Tatum can't make shots himself, he is able to create for others. Book has to be watching these finals and learning every bit of this.

i guess this is the NBA we live in and I am not a fan.

The Celtics shot most of their shots form 3 and the the Warrios almost did the same.

The Celtics just made more of them (2 more) 21 to 19.

If Ayton stays he must join the party. He has shown the ability to make them in limited attempts.

I understand you. I haven't watched any game since the Suns were eliminated, I can't stand all the flopping and all those 50 3p shots attempted per game anymore.

Hopefully I will have desire to watch NBA basketball again in October, but for now I need a **** rest.

Just really hope the Warriors lose I can’t stand that team. Suns would have been run off the court by either of these teams though which is sad based on how they looked all year. Complete collapse from top to bottom.

Celtics don’t have a true PG so the ball is in Tatum’s hands a lot more. I think Tatum and Booker are very similar on how they play. Tatum is definitely more athletic and plays better defense but I’ll take Booker on offense. The league is in good hands with both players.

Tatum's size seems to be able to help him when it comes to handling opposing defense. easier to pass over people when you're 6'8

yeah i'm rooting for the Celts. They're actually a really good story this year, from borderline dumpster fire to being up in the finals. who knew?

Tatum has had an AMAZING playoff run. Especially playing well when his team needed him to facing elimination, etc.

Against Brooklyn, 29.5. 7.3, 4.5
Against Milwaukee, 27.6, 6.3, 5
Against Miami, 25, 8.3, 5.6

First game vs GS...bad shooting game but 13 assists and 5 boards.

I want someone to punch Draymond Green right in his face. In the old NBA they would have done it many times. Can you imagine what what have happened if he would have put his sneaker in the face of Karl Malone?

He absolutely deserved to be thrown out of last nights game. But the refs have an unwritten rule to not give a guy a 2nd technical, even if he deserves, if it means he will be out of the game. WTF - this NBA Sucks. So much crap.

WWF.
As for the crap that Draymond pulls every game - nothing I haven't seen before. The names differ, it can be Rodman, it can be Bowen, I've seen them all. Difference for Donkey came when they were up on LeBron 3-1, that's when he got his azz tossed for the same ish he does every game - 'cuz the WWF needed more drama.

Tatum has turned into a very well-rounded player. I posted I think he'll choke under pressure in the finals and he kinda did with 3/17 shooting in Gm1, but even if he has a bad shooting game he's compensating now with playmaking. 1A to Booker's 1B if McD was as smart as he thought he is.

I loath Ryan McDonough with the passion of 100 suns but I can't pin the Tatum one one him. From everything I've heard there was zero chance Tatum was getting past Boston that draft.

With just a tiny bit more luck we could have had both Tatum AND Morant...

Return to Phoenix Suns
