Absolutly.
Players we gave up too early and then they showed that they still had a lot in the tank.
Horford could still be playing with us and leading us to higher summits.

Nobody even viewed Al Horford in a positive way until this years postseason. He was bad with Philly, with OKC he told to just stay home, and now with Boston he's finally being productive.
$27 million per season. You hope he produces a few games but his leadership is what's valuable. After next season he will be a young 37 years old. Maybe we should pursue him in free agency for $27 million per season? Offer him, 3yrs, $81 million........

The RingerThe Trail Blazers Want a Star
League sources say the Blazers are exploring trades for veterans who can help Damian Lillard lead the team back to the postseason. The Blazers have the seventh pick in the draft, so that’s their most obvious asset to use in potential deals. But they also have a bunch of young players that could be used in trades to accomplish the same goal. On top of that, Portland also pathways to create max space to sign a major free agent outright.
One...player frequently mentioned to be on Portland’s radar is Atlanta’s John Collins, who is a lob threat that could provide more defensive versatility than Jusuf Nurkic.
The Blazers have a surprising amount of ways to pursue big names aside from dealing their lottery pick. They have a $20.8 million trade exception, Eric Bledsoe’s lightly guaranteed contract ($3.9 million), a rising talent in Josh Hart, and future picks. There’s also a potential sign-and-trade with Nurkic, or more drastically, flipping Anfernee Simons, a 22-year-old coming off a career-best season and entering restricted free agency.
All of these players and assets could be used to acquire a star, or multiple pieces.

Donovan and Trae have been liking and writing each other on Instagram more often this off-season. I'm not straining my eyes over it.

No doubt. I predict a career best season from LaMelo, an All Star selection and a top-8 seed for the Hornets.
I really like this for that franchise. I hate we missed out on K Atkinson, though.

Charlotte Hornets forward Montrezl Harrell is facing felony drug charges stemming from a traffic stop in Richmond, Ky., last month.
According to Madison County, Ky., court records, Harrell was scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. Monday to answer the traffic citation. Harrell, 28, was pulled over by a Kentucky state trooper at 9:58 a.m. on May 12 while traveling southbound on I-75 for following the vehicle in front of him too closely, according to the police records.
Trooper Jesse Owens stated he “upon stop observed odor of marijuana” from the silver 2020 Honda Pilot that Harrell was driving, according to the citation. Harrell, Owens wrote in the report, “admitted to being in possession of marijuana and produced a small amount from his sweatpants.” During a subsequent search of the vehicle, which the report states Harrell claims was rented, “three pounds of marijuana in vacuum sealed bags” were found in a backpack in the back seat, according to the citation. He’s been charged with trafficking less than five pounds of marijuana.

This is huge news.
This is an embarrassing development for that franchise.
This affects that draft pick we're owed.
This leaves two elite coaching prospects available for next summer when I hope we'll be making a change.

Bleacher ReportClint Capela Trade Rumors: T-Wolves Discuss Hawks Star Amid Pursuit of Veteran Center
The Minnesota Timberwolves are reportedly seeking frontcourt depth this offseason and have discussed a potential trade for Clint Capela, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Capela has spent the past two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks and signed a two-year, $45.9 million extension last September that keeps him under contract through 2024-25. The 28-year-old took a step back after signing the deal, averaging 11.1 points, 11.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game in 2021-22.
In 2020-21, Capela averaged 15.2 points, 2.0 blocks and an NBA-best 14.3 rebounds per game.
